HSBC are good at these .... they offered me and other ops one ... it seems to be standard procedure!! Avoid them!!!They add interest at source, for instance, my outstanding debt with them was approx £29,000 (inc interest and ppi), they matched my dmp proposal and repayment over 12 years would mean me repaying over £40,000!!! CCCS said just ignore it, so I have.I stopped smoking 25th June 2007STILL Never complacent but confidentMy debt is GOING DOWN!!!!0

Contact CCCS - part of your DMP was not to take out any new credit
Think you will be told to ignore it or bin itworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -

You should definately consider making a formal complaint in writing to Lloyds they have to take them seriously, when I did I got money back and also they accepted for a year no one else did for that length of time.
Its far too much stress going on for far too long for you.0 -
Thanks for that have triec calling cccs but all lines busy so will try again later!0

Hi all....
Having been very envious of everyone's holidays it now looks like we are going away ... for a week in August somewhere in the UK. OH has been doing a favour and helping fit a friend's kitchen - so they've invited us to go with them as they have spare places. So we just need food money, petrol money ... and spending money
Guess I'll have to be stingy on the meals and shopping till then - and afterwards too probably
Just shows that doing a favour can bring a nice surpriseworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Great news about the holiday Newlywed
After huge pile of letters and default from Barclays when got back from hols, its all gone quiet. Nothing from Argos Loan or Sky Card about my offer.
Have emailed CCCS about letters and default from Barclays and whether I should contact Barclays and waiting to hear back.
The default said had to pay full amount owed by 10th July...aaaah
Letters said to make payment offered and Barclays Recovery Dept / Agent would be in touch in due course.
Have made first DMP payment, so guess nothing else can really do at the moment.
Working at home today so am hoping the weather allows for plenty of play at Wimbledon and the cricket...not very promising though0 -

My default from Mint said similar so I wrote to them saying about the DMP and that CCCS should have been in touch with my payment proposals and stating that they had actually already received my first payment as proposed by CCCS - yours should go to them on 25th of this month.
For my case, CCCS just said they would re-send the details to Mint in case they hadn't had them but they said it is pretty standard and not to worry. If they plan to pass to a debt collection agency apparently they have to issue default. If it passes to a DCA then CCCS need to know that they have to pay someone else insteadworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Thanks NewlyWed.
Barclays rejected my DMP offer on Loan and current account but on loan said to make payment offered and they will stop interest if I make payment and in due course they will be in touch.
Think will write to them out of courtesy due to explain yet again what I am doing and why etc0 -

Mint just ignored everything. I wrote to them after the default just so they couldn't say that I didn't reply with a proposal within 7 days. I replied saying you've had the proposal, you've even had the payment
