  • Hi
Im looking for HELP i sent my first letter to the Clydesdale Bank on
the 22nd Feb asking for my statements i enclosed a £10 cheque i waited the 40 days heard nothing ,then a few days later i recived a letter saying they wanted £5 per sheet of statement ,so i called the branch they said they did not no who was dealing with my complaint,i asked to speak to the manager and low and behold they said they would put me through to the department that was dealing with my claim. The girl there said she did not no how far up the list i was so they would call me back that was 3 weeks ago again nothing.I then called the commisioners office left a message nothing again. Now i have sent a letter to the bank manager stating under the data protection act that they must send my statements again no reply. Please if there is anyone that can help, i seem to be banging my head of a brick wall.

Hi I recently received a letter from Halifax PLC rejecting my claim to have my charges back. I am now writing to inform them of the 14 days they have to settle before I commence court proceedings but I am unsure of where to send this letter. Do I send it to my branch again as I did with the first letter or back to the person who sent me the rejection letter?
Any suggestion would be super helpful! : )

Send to the person who replied to you.

I have received letter from MCOL to say the case has been transferred to salford county court and it show Barclays defence in this letter, can anyone tell me if I need to send any docs off now or should I wait untill I am asked by the court.

    Thanks in advance
    Lindsey

Wait until you hear either from the court or the bank's solicitors who will let you know what information they want from you.

Re: My partners Lloyds TSB business account.
Omg what have i done!!! Please can someone help? Standard two letters to Lloyds sent, no reply so now going through mcol to reclaim approx £2000.
Received a letter today from Lloyds, usual rubbish about fair charges etc.. But the bit that worries me is this: "I`ve noticed that you`ve referred to the unfair contracts terms act 1977 and this doesn`t apply to you as you are a business customer!" I know i have entered the correct defence on mcol as i used the template on the C.A.G, the one quoteing Murray v leisureplay etc..
Can anyway advise please????? thankyou x

We have applied for our bank charges to be paid and keep getting fobbed off by saying that they are still looking into it. What should we do next?

    Ho everyone
Well i am livid today lol for a change. At the moment ongoing with Abbey and just need to fill in questionnaire and off to court which i can handle. Last month i asked Alliance and Leicester for bank statements for my oh's acc. They arrived last week and this week i was going to do my first template letter for them . We recieved a letter today saying hubby had to pay his overdraft and charges they have given him this month within the next 7 days or they will take him to court. He phoned them and asked why they said they are currently closing his account down didnt he know. We are in a bit of a pickle now cos hubbys wages go in next week and the account will be closed down by then. He wasnt going to bother about his bank charges but now told me to go ahead and get them back, they really havent done themselves any favours.

    Hi,

I have followed the website to the date and claiming from Lloyds TSB and have just paid £80 for the MCOL to take them to court as they are just fobbing me off. Keep it up why should they have your money.

    They will pay up.
