I have an appointment with a counsellor at the doctor's surgery this morning - this was the appointment they gave me weeks ago but I couldn't wait for it, so I went to the Samaritans. I'm not sure what to say to her, but I felt that I needed to come today, just to summon up a bit of extra strength.Life is a gift... and I intend to make the most of mine :A

Today's the day. I'm scared but I'm ready.
He's never slapped, punched or beaten me, so in the past I would have said no.
But after talking to the Samaritans, I realise that spitting, poking me in the chest, shoving and kicking me in bed if I woke him - those are all forms of physical abuse. And he's done them all.

I'm at work and so on edge that I might snap any second. A colleague complimented me on my recent weight loss. If only she knew. I've hardly eaten in weeks, I've lost half a stone from anxiety. My boss asked me if I had a good weekend and I could hardly look him in the eye.
4:00 can't come soon enough.Life is a gift... and I intend to make the most of mine :A
