Sorry for the rant but I just wondered why certain people are posting
If the thread has been bumped fair enough but on occasions the message was posted just mins after the OP there is no way that bumped the thread. It is making me not want to post and I am sure it puts others off too.
When the thread wasn't even bumped. I have seen so many like this lately and I don't understand why people are asking these people not to bump when they haven't bumped seems like all they are doing is telling people off. Please don't bump the threads click the Thank's button

Could it be because the person who bumped the thread then deleted their post leaving the don't bump message?
Can't say I've seen any of these though do you have an example?Rational judgement, now, at this very moment.
Virtuous action, now, at this very moment.

I think we should have a button we can press to 'report for bumping'. Then when a 'bumper' reaches a certain number of posts reported for bumping, then then should be given:
1st - a warning
then 2nd - a ban from posting for 30 days!
Hopefully that would stop people from deliberately bumping!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -

That is a good idea you should suggest that :T0 -
Who do I suggest it to? I am fed up of the debate of bumping - we need to do something about it and if a 'report for bumping' button is available then it will hopefully prevent deliberate bumping in future!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0

I think I may have `bumped` a post by accident.I am new here and still learning. I will now use the `thanks` button if I like a post but cannot comment on it.0

I think what OP means is that the reply was given 4 minutes after the thread was created - hardly bumping when it's going to be at the top anyway.
Saying don't bump half an hour later is actually creating more of a bump.0 -
But it was bumped!
How was it? Have you seen the times OP posted at 4.35pm then #2 posted at 4.39pm the post will have been bumped however by the person stating not to bump as they posted at 5.06pm.
I disagree that the post was originally bumped due to the times of the posts this will not have inconvenienced anyone and was unnecessary to comment regarding it.0 -
