    Good day to you all.

It is a lovely day here today. No wind and bright sunshine.

My task today is to do something that i believe only exists on here and in tales of old. I have not managed it yet. I am going to try to have a NSD(No spend day)

I should manage it as i have nothing i need to get so wish me luck.

FROST  are you really far North? All my allotment is planted, so if we have frost here in Staffordshire, it will be a complete disaster

Don't want to tempt fate, but ... the sun is shining!! :j

catowen - congrats to your son for his trophy :T My son has his presentation evening on Friday, can't wait, sounds like a good night out with disco and raffle etc., as well as the presentation.

I shall be Flying again with lil_me today (note to self, check list :o ) I can't be a full blown FL it would drive me crazy, but that thread does give me a bit of focus lately, which I need.

Coursework later today and I want to have a play with digi-scrapping. Had my 3rd lesson come through yesterday (HP classes online - free ;) )

Now to have my cuppa and nosey around. Have a lovely day everyone

It's raining here as well. Very grey looking out there.

Have to do schooling today. Need to get some ironing done and some laundry on the move. Tonight it's Fish and chips (hm) Those who don't like fish have fish fingers.

Need to organize my time as I have some birthdays coming up, and wanting to save a little on cards and so forth, I went through all my cross stitch kits and have chosen some to stitch for pressies. Which is great, but, I'm also in the middle of knitting a waistcoat for myself. Have decided to do some prem. baby stuff with view of our nearest baby unit taking them on. I want to get some squares knitted up as I have a bee in my bonnet about providing some local old people homes with some lap blankets for the winter, I have a pair of socks to finish off and I'm beginning to think "help" I am hoping to get the church involved with the old peoples blankets. I just want to get at least one made up so I can show an example of what they will look like.

Everyone have a blessed and prosperous day.

    Hugs to all :-)

    Morning all,

N9eav I'm another one who has trouble with DS - I can find all sorts under his bed. Yoghurt pots, empty crisp bags, banana peel, apple cores. I can easily take 3 or 4 glasses from his room at any time too. Still, both he and his DS tidied their rooms at the weekend (:j ) and I now have a bin bag full of clothes that no longer fit them but they just kept piling them up on the floor.

mioliere well done on the book sale. Amazon aren't my favourite people at the moment. I had ordered £15.79 of stuff in their clearance sale and qualified for the free delivery as I had spent over £15. I received e-mails telling me that four of the items are not available but the rest of my stuff will be dispatched soon. Got an e-mail today telling me the order is being dispatched and they are charging me £7.37  delivery!! I think it is too late for me to cancel the order but I do think they should have told me that as the items were unavailable (through no fault of mine) that they would be charging for delivery.

scuzz enjoy Belfast. Please tell us what it was like. I've never been.

(((hugs))) to all who need/want one.

Took DD to doc yesterday as her hearing in her left ear was very dull (she had her ears syringed two weeks ago). Turns out she has fluid in her middle ear so she is now on a course of antibiotics and nasal drops. If they don't do the trick, she will have to see an ENT specialist at the hospital.

Tasks today are to take the outgrown clothes to the local cancer charity shop, sort out the recycling, tidy the mess that DS has trailed through the house while making his latest film (I have a budding Steven Spielberg in the house), check out the fridge/freezer and cupboards and sort some of meal plan for the rest of the week. There will be lots of other little jobs to be done but if I get those done then I can call that a successful day.

Have a tremendous Tuesday and good luck to the mini OSers who are doing SATs. xx

Good morning everyone! Just a quick one from me, as the Small Penguins will be up soon, demading food! I'm off to w*** later, and out seeing clients in the afternoon.

Made duck stock yesterday, so onion soup later in the week. Need to have inspiration, too, as I have friends round for supper on Friday. Thinking a cheesecake for pudding (I have some biscuits that need using) and maybe Gingham's veggie lasagne, or a pasta bake.

We 've been turning over the eggs in the incubator, 3 times a day (so that they grow evenly, and don't stick to the inside of the shell). As they're now 3 days off hatching, that finished yesterday, and we now leave them to finish. Very exciting.

Have a great day, Penny. x
