Clear and wipe work surfaces
Level Two
Sweep and Mop the floor
Wipe the cupboards, appliances and all those manky corners!!
Level Three
Defrost the freezer if needed!!
Wipe over all those small appliances.. don't forget the inside of the microwave!
Wipe out the icky parts of the fridge and have a quick check for what needs restocking.. I'm sure those of you who are parents have locusts off school!!
Extras
Clean oven/hob if you really really want to.. *rolls eyes*
HHI ..
Clean windows and sills
Treat the pets for fleas!!!
Go play a game with the children who have helped you today!!
Childrens list.
Clear and wipe the table
Load the dishwasher (DW) if you have one
Can you fill the washing machine (WM) with things that are all the same colour and switch it on?? This is a very important thing to learn.. many big clever daddies struggle with this job.. even our daddy.. so if you can do this.. you are cleverer than him!
If you are a bigger little person could you wipe over the fronts of the kitchen cupboards and fridge/freezer/washing machine.. sometimes you need to check the insides too as they get a bit sticky..

HHI.. get that mountain gone - or if it is too big then maybe make a huge dent in it!!!
I think the children who have been most helpful today should decide what you are having for dinner.. and that doesn't mean a takeaway.. we will consider that for the weekend if you are doing a fabulous job!!! Maybe if they are big enough they can help or better still cook for you!!
Childrens list.
Sort out all the shoes.. make sure there are 2 of them all and put them nicely on the shelf or in the box. Encourage the person who has the most to get rid of a few pairs they never wear!
Oh.. I think you'll like this.. everyone gets a carrier bag.. and spends 5 mintues running all over the house putting rubbish in it.. not other peoples things just rubbish, scrappy papers, junk mail, used envelopes and things like that.. after 5 minutes we weigh all the bags and see who has the heaviest bag. The winner gets a treat (and so does everyone else!)
Pick up all your own things from the front room and put them away in their homes
Water any plants in the house.. I'm always forgetting.
If you are a bigger little person could you vacuum the floors once they are clear of stuff?0 -
morning all
spent the first 3 hours of the day making a couple of trees on ancestry with my new info, i thought i was a free member on their but when i tried to log in yesterday it said i wasnt registered so ive rejoined if that makes sense.
mils is very confusing as their are lots of different fathers an huge amounts of children
mine peters out after my great great grandad as his parents died when he was young, ive found a list of his siblings that an aunt gave me and put a few into freebmd and come up with some possible dobs for them (im told gt grandad was the youngest) be interesting to find a link to take that further back but with no parent names its difficult isnt it.
its DS2 birthday today so ive promised hi some puter tims and the prevelige of doing what he wants today so i suppose that means ill be turfed off the puter to do some flying in a bit.
hugs, good wishes and positive vibes as well as virtual help for pigpen (im with you in spirit)
i hope everyone is well
off to add the lists and do something

How did you all get on, mrs-mp, PP and Narcolepsy?
Knowing that you were all behind me and egging me on, I have
- hung out the first WM load (bedding) while the sun is shining
- started the second load, which has just finished
- sorted the third load but it will have to wait until D comes home so that I can throw in the pullover that he's been wearing all weekend (but it's a warm one, and the Cathedral is draughty, especially by the West door!)
- thrown out dead flowers
- dusted and hoovered all downstairs rooms, except for my desk
- S&S'd downstairs WC
- cleared and cleaned kitchen worktops and breakfast table
I won't mop the kitchen floor today because my knee is still painful and I can't get down to do it.
Still to do:
- clean microwave and fridge
- wipe cupboard fronts and large/small appliances
- make food shopping list for this afternoon - my children have all ordered coffee cakes for Friday
- water the plants
- tidy my desk
- clean monitor and keyboard
- QHI this evening
but I need :coffee: firstPlease join me if you'd like to. While I sip it daintily :rotfl: I'm going to see what more I can do with Dusty's second genealogy challenge.
(((Hugs))) and spoons to all in need. Enjoy the sunshine if you've got some today.0
