That should do for now, oh and I need to learn how to use Excel - sure a child can help

If you need any help ask yours truly - I've been on courses and everything;)

I have done two loads of washing (the Vallikids are KINDLY keeping the basket topped up for me;)) and TD'd one (looked cloudy) and one is now on the line, as it's bright and sunny and warm(er).
Dropped DD at work then went to my work; along with colleague we have catalogued RE resources (on an excel database) with one tab for artefacts and one tab for media and one tab for instructions on how to sort the database;) and what the little red triangles on some cells mean (they mean there's a note 'attached' to that cell)
She's done a display (I kind of helped) while I did some decluttering and I have brought my classroom keyboard home. The keys are now spotless. They are drying and once they're dry and the keyboard 'base' is cleaned I shall reassemble. I have already vacuumed it *shudder* t'was gross...

    JUST OUT OF INTEREST -

being plastic they are easily cleaned by removing them (AFTER you've taken a picture) and sticking them in some warm water with houshold soda; soaking for a short while then rinsing and drying.

This method works EXCELLENTLY for lego bricks (or similar) too, as long as they are totally plastic. The grease (from oily/sticky fingers) just floats off. Agitate them if you want (wear rubber gloves) and rinse well.
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

Valli I know this will sound pretty basic, but how do you get the keys off?

Thanks Mrs MP. I wanted her to get to Christmas and was amazed that she did, and then her 16th birthday which she did in January, so she's done her time. I'm going to miss her like crazy, but I want her to go peacefully, painlessly, at home, in her sleep.
    Better is good enough.

Hello flyladies and gents. I have quickly skimmed the thread, so hugs to HoneyBear (and Dog), Ionafan (for knee) and anyone else who needs them.

Lovely sunny day here, day 5 of 10 of the Easter hols and I have been a good flylady and spent 5 hours spring cleaning the LR interspersed with two dog walks and a quick trip to local shops. The days are just disappearing so quickly. LR still not quite complete: I need to take the covers of the sofa and clean those and wash the light fittings.

The second of three pet beds is currently in the machine, a normal washload has been done and I've hoovered downstairs. As part of the LR sort out, I've removed the broken home computer and set up DH's laptop as our main one now.

Time to get dinner on and then tackle the mountain of washing up, oh and still need to sort out shopping list for big shop with DD tomorrow.

    Catch you all later.
Spend less now, work less later.

Helped DS1 with his Camp America forms - took ages, nearly done - he leaves on 7th June for 4 months.

    QUOTE]

I'm so pleased for you and enormously jealous! Is it the camp he had the Skype interview for?

I've been to work today and done a big shop at Te$co.

We have finally heard about DH's op tomorrow. The idiot at the hospital wouldn't tell DD1 on the phone so they rang DH and he had to a board meeting. He was not best pleased. NIL by mouth from 7am tomorrow.

Afdvance train tickets have finally been released for my planned trip in June. Just waiting for my friend to confirm what time she can leave work. I'm not very patient!

    Special (((hugs))) to Honeybear.

Mrs-mp, you can PM if you want to!

I have done almost everything I planned today except the HHI (will do later this evening) and the shopping (must go out as soon as I've finished the :coffee: that DH :A made for me). Still mulling over Dusty's challenge.

The sun is still shining and I've still got washing out to dry - best day of the year so far :)

Mad Tuesday - Living room, Hallway and Stairs
    Level One

    Level Two
    Vacuum floors and sofas

    Level Three
Vacuum under the furniture you can move
Clean windows, pictures, mirrors and any other glass like things.
    Clear a hotspot
    Vacuum hall and stairs

    I'll add

I[STRIKE] flick[/STRIKE] gently lever them off with a knife - just an ordinary 'eating' one.
This is not a laptop keyboard, BTW!

Keyboard now has gleaming keys all in the right place
    I have ironed
I have cleaned DS's Converse trainers one of which was encrusted with mud because he fell over during the Easter Egg hunt at school (this is a 19yo BTW*roll eyes*) and removed the laces and put them in a net bag ready for washing. Because HE won't get round to doing it. *sigh*

    Hole in New blouse mended.
    Hole in net bag mended
    all washing ironed and airing

DD went off after a massive hug and Ex has given me flight numbers. :D Thats it now until Sunday night apparently, although we can text via ex's number.

I've just spent 2 hours sorting through the pile of junk in the yard thats been there for about 2 years and I've just been adding to it... I feel so dirty right now and I stuck to the cleaner jobs  I have managed to bag up 2 binbags of rubbish (rubbish the damn kids have thrown over and leaves/seeds from next doors trees  ), taken down the washing lines (covered in paint and I don't know what else from when I had the roof re-done. I have new ones in the cupboard waiting ;) ) and located the end cap from the gutter that came off due to the ice/snow we've had, just need to reach it now as its in the other neighbours gutter :rotfl:

So tonight plan is to go get changed, find something to eat, then curl up with my hands soaking in handcream/gloves as they are currently like sandpaper while I watch some TV and go for an earlyish night. Work tomorrow, so I need to be up by 7am!
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
