I think you deserve a night off, bossymoo - you're usually one of the most active Flyladies in the team! You and skint make me feel lazy

But I just keep reminding myself that I am retired and need to conserve energy for the days I am lucky enough to spend with my DGSs and DGDs :D

    We're visiting DGDs 1 and 2 and DGS3 on Friday :j

Sorry for pinching your post bossymoo x

ionafan, bonnie_bumpkins, Dusty and others - maybe we should have a meet at the National Archives? :D

Actually, I did try out my new tester pots, on the stairway, which means I actually have to decorate now.

    But not t'nite ;)

Dusty, I am also schooled in excel spreadsheety thingamebobs. I'm happy to help too, I customise them in my paid wotsit.

Incidentally, I'm currently in negotiation with my boss man about doing some additional hours

Been to the pub with an old friend for the evening, she needed a long chat, not sure I helped much but at least she got to talk.

Frodders - funny I said the same to Bonnie in a pm earlier

Bossy/Valli thank you very much for being willing to help me with excel, I think what I want to do is very simple but when I get stuck (I have never set anything up myself) then I'll shout

Mumto5 yes the one he had the skype interview for. Fingers crossed for your DH tomorrow, I hope it works.

Right to bed for me. Catch you all in the morning, bathroom cleaning for me.

Good morning everyone  Am I really the first up? It looks as if we're going to have another beautiful sunny day here, and for the first time in weeks the temperature at 6 a.m. was above freezing :)

I have already sorted papers on my desk for filing

    To do today:
    - email translator friend re dictionaries to ask if she wants any of my dictionaries
    - shower
    - breakfast
    - tonight's meal into slow cooker
    - dailies: kitchen including window, bathroom, bed (rest of house still clean and tidy)
    - accompany DH to yet another horsepiddle appointment
    - post 2 letters
    - shopping: didn't do this yesterday as I found enough bread for today's breakfast, so decided to have a NSD and eat up bits from fridge :money:
    - ring 6 estate agents in West Midlands re viewings on Friday (did I tell you that we had changed our minds about the house we were intending to buy?) - the logistics of fitting everything into the day are mind-boggling...
    - ring university secondhand bookshop to ask if they'd buy my remaining dictionaries :money:
    - if bookshop says yes, go there = afternoon out in a nice city :)
    - make coffee cakes for DS1, DS2 and DD's families
    - prepare material for the course I'm running on Monday
    - go to folk dance club with DH if he feels well enough

That should keep me out of mischief :rotfl:

Morning Ionafan, I'm up too but only just. A busy day here planned. DD and I are going to do a big shop and then spend the afternoon listing things on ebay, if I can sort out buy it now only. Also need to fit in two dog walks. I haven't looked at today's flying list yet but will do soon and will fit in what I can. My own list for the Easter hols isn't getting any shorter!

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.
