    Good morning everyone

Everybody up, DH and DS1 away to work, DS2 started his revising, DS3 with the tv.

I'm going to make a start with cleaning the bathroom and have a shower. It was sunny here but clouding over so I'll try putting the washing out and see what happens.

    Today
    Library books
    Finish upstairs dusting
    Put seeds away
    Bank accounts
    Insurance DS1
stuff to charity/clothes recycling/return to shop and food shop

If I get all that done then a little bit of downstairs may get done.

Thanks to Ionafan for all your help, I will see which details match my tree later and report back.

    Morning :)

Still trying to get motivated to fly before my shifts at work, I always seem to be in a rush! Have however managed yesterday to do a charity shop run. This morning have s+s'd and am now having breakfast. Attscking floor in a bit with steam cleaner and then get ready for work.

Have a great day everyone :)

    Good morning, Good morning!

Just got out of bed 'cos 12 hour night shift tonight, and my plan for the day is

change all beds and wash bedding
    load DW and clean surfaces
    s&s bathrooms
    hoover through

take doggies for a walk by the river
    make goulash for tea
potter in the garden for an hour as its sunny

hopefully have another hour in bed before work

I know I'm new to this and probably should be following the list of jobs a bit more closely :o, but I bet I'm not alone in that when the sun is shining I just want to be out in the fresh air:D

Have a good day everyone x

    Morning all,

Haven't done much flying so far this week as been visiting various friends and family which has been really lovely :) It also means that the house is pretty straight as I've kept up with the dailies and we haven't been here much to make a mess ;) I think a dust, sweep, mop and Hoover through is in order for today and I need to go and do a top up shop..... Lovely sunny day here again which lifts the spirit so I may venture into the garden for a tidy this afternoon....

Back later to catch up on thread and to have a look at the list; I'm sure there's lots of things to do that I haven't thought of :)

Have a good day all, Cake x

Frodders - funny I said the same to Bonnie in a pm earlier

Sounds like a plan then :D

WM on as it was nice and sunny when I got up - looking very dark now though :(

I have a couple of boxes ready to sort and then I'm going to do some filing.

I've had a shower and a tidy round and that is it, lacking motivaton. DS3 seems a bit off colour so I may go to town leaving him with DS2 and then sit and play with him later or watch a dvd.

Ack still trying to wake up properly :( Was going to do the housework today as I had put it off for a couple of days..oops was caught out big time that will teach me :(

Just had the loss adjuster out to assess for our patch of ceiling, that we had a our little water leak, to be repaired.. Err no it isn't as simple as that. I am now waiting for a phone call from the asbestos people to come out and do a sample test due to the age of the house! If it turns out to be asbestos we have to have the ceiling ripped out and a new one put in - ok not a problem you say but I have a 24ft through lounge/diner and the whole thing would have to be done!!! And we haven't long finished the decorating on the lounge walls/ceiling. Now remind me why we decided to put a claim in..? Can't they do what we did to the kitchen ceiling, and put a fake one on the top of it..lol We have 8ft ceilings so lowering it by 2in really doesn't make that much difference as the one in the kitchen looks like it has always been there :D Now remind me why we decided to put a claim in..?

Oh well better get on and get showered as I just threw clothes on as the guy didn't follow instructions and ring Dave first at work so he could warn me. Nope he just turned up!! Didn't do too well with that I can tell you..

    LW you will understand this.

Eaten a huge frog - cleared out my tupperware cupboard and had a major throwout of non matching things. Blimey I didn't realise I had some new unwrapped posh "tupperware" things in there.. :) Now totally rearranged the cupboard and can even store my new roasting tins in there out of harms way :D Must remember not to pile things on top of them now :p

Also popped in all the chrisanth cuttings I got off my bunch from Asda. Wow there were loads and they were all healthy looking too, nearly every bunch had three babys growing from it. So they are all now nicely plonked in the box outside the front door, and I even remembered to use rooting powder. Mind you I expect my neighbours thought I was odd as I was doing it at 7.30pm last night..lol

Oh and those that have been talking about ancestors - thank you :D I have now joined ancestory.co.uk again (got a 14 day free trial) and am hunting down my rellies again. Did this a while back and managed to locate my great grandparents wedding certificate which I have so am trying to locate their parents now :D

Hugs and spoons to everyone that needs/wants them :D

Childrens section amended as no children and I don't think my dogs can do these..lol

Off work today, so I'm in!

Got to get out everything DD1 needs for her school trip (2 nights away next week) and make sure she doesn't need anything else. Other than that it's a flying day, so we can have the rest of the week doing the bare minimum!

    • Clear and wipe the table
    • Load the dishwasher (DW) if you have one
    • Can you fill the washing machine (WM) with things that are all the same colour and switch it on?? This is a very important thing to learn.. many big clever daddies struggle with this job.. even our daddy.. so if you can do this.. you are cleverer than him!
    • If you are a bigger little person could you wipe over the fronts of the kitchen cupboards and fridge/freezer/washing machine.. sometimes you need to check the insides too as they get a bit sticky..

    Childrens list.
