I'll join you Mrs MP. If I work with someone there is a chance I'll stop reading blogs, playing Solitaire and generally fiddling about rather than GETTING ON WITH FILING.Better is good enough.0

Bathroom all clean
Box sorted with DS3
Our bedroom all cleaned, including under the bed
Very happy with that. Time for a cuppa, then dinner, then cricket and taking DS2 with me in the hope of getting a ski jacket for Friday at the outlet centre across the way from cricket sports park. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
That HHC shifted quite a bit, so thank you Mrs MP. Now I'm going to cull a few files by archiving them in the attic and get the step ladder out to bung stuff on the top shelves. With any luck that means I can start on the In Tray after a cup of tea.Better is good enough.0

In your HHC starting at 4.30, mrs-mp, I decluttered some more of your ancestors!
Since lunchtime I have managed to ring just 4 estate agents - they are so slow in getting back to me with an answer, but I suppose many people are out and about this week.
I have made 3 pairs of coffee cakes ready to sandwich together, ice and decorate with cherries and walnuts when they have cooled.
DH has tested the smoke alarm and is out buying bits at B'n'Q.
I still need to prepare material for the course I'm running on Monday but am not feeling very motivatedWill somebody please aim a boot in my direction - I'm out all day tomorrow and Friday and for most of Saturday and Sunday, so I really need to get started!

Been to town (free resident parking) with DD and my mum.
Got bargain priced ariel liquid, new bulbs for extractor hood.
Apparently I am supposed to wash the filters once a month. They have now been washed *blush*. Finally found C6 envelopes in Wilkinsons and got a doorstop (to stop back door/handle banging into wall) for £5. Been looking for one for a while and this is by far the cheapest I have seen - £5. Current doorstop/wall protector is a sponge attached to the door handle by rubber bands :rotfl: and put £10 on my phone in Boots (advantage points) with a gift card bout from Mr Ms (1p a litre off petrol!)
Sorry for making you cry but what a lovely story.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Hi there,
It certainly seems like everyone has been busy on here today! :T
I thought I'd just put my list up to see what I've done, what needs doing and remove things that I don't have/do. All in all not too badI really do need to clear the cupboard under the stairs to get the shoes, coats etc under control but I keep thinking I'll do it when the weather improves so I can bring the summer flipflops, sandles and light jackets to the front and wash and store all the hats, scarves, gloves, winter coats and boots but it's still soooo cold!!!!
I also need to mop through too but DH and DD1 out this evening so I think I'm just going to do some tea for me and DD2 and then we can curl up on sofa and watch something on tv or maybe a DVD and have an early-ish night...
