And sorted our craft bits into it.
I'm in bed watching TV, and have DS in with me. He's fine, fast asleep, but just asked so nicely "but mum it's really comfy in here" :A bless him. I'll lift him in a mo. but he snuggled in behind me and put his arm over me
We've a bit of a tea party going on tomorrow with two lots of friends over, so six kiddies aged 6 and under.
I was supposed to go to @ldi on way home but was late out and didn't have my bags, so we'll need to go in morning, or our guests will be eating pretend food...Bossymoo

Evening all, oops my HHC at 11am kind of turned into a major all day job..lol Actually didn't get a lot done either, well apart from decluttering a few things on the t.v. Oh and I did hoover around downstairs, more ceiling came down, and gave the stairs a good old hoover after brushing them down with a rubber brush.
Got DH into trouble at work with his senior manager, he got his knuckles rapped about the 5 unanswered phone calls from me, all because I hadn't left a message..oops!! So he wasn't in a good mood when he came home and told me. Didn't help that I was twitchy anyway after adjuster man coming this morning unannounced.
Oh and it snowed twice today - thought it was April didn't realise we had gone into November this year already..where did summer go
LW I'm dreading when the work needs doing as DH isn't taking the time off, he can't work from home due to security reasons when workmen are here..:( And he won't take a day off.. So I'm left dealing with them as I thought would happen. That's going to be a goody - talk about me being twitchy with them here. I won't like the mess, having to keep the dogs under control, having to put up with Jet barking because he doesn't like people working in the house..and just generally having my home invaded. I might have to bribe my good friend T to come round for the day while they are here..She knows how to calm me down.:rotfl:

Evening all, not much flying done here. Kids have enjoyed a day out in the garden with some sunshine eventho a bit cold.
I've done the floors and more washing, even got some washing out on the line. Dw been on twice but not much else has been done. ***Must try harder tomorrow.***
Now to change a smelly child and then bed I go.
Big hugs to all who need one. :grouphug:“Life is short, live it. Love is rare, grab it. Anger is bad, dump it. Fear is awful, face it. Memories are sweet, cherish it.”0 -
I have done loads today, 7 washes 4 of which went on line and dried.
It started with the under stair cupboard which is where I hide my ironing mountain when we have guests, and then forget about it. So I had to clear that and had a good clear out then decided the rest needed freshening up hence the 7 washes. Now I will be back to square one with a mountain of ironing. I have a week off from the paid stuff so I am determined I will get rid of it this time!
I also changed two beds and kept up with dailies so I treated myself to a hair colour, now me and the house look much better!0 -
Last kitchen Drawer sorted
DS1 made cookies, he spilt veg oil over floor and me, tried kitchen roll, floor wipes then out came the mop. Hence WM went on again and hope no one was watching as had to take off jeans in kitchen.
1 more shelf sorted on SOD
Took DS2 for haircut
Went to Mr Ms
Gave car a drink
Off to Birmingham tomorrow all being well. A treat for my boys. I haven't driven there before.0 -

Evening all. DD and I managed to do all that we'd planned today but boy are we tired. The house is tidy, but obviously that is not the same as being clean, although the LR is now totally spring cleaned. So the plan tomorrow is to get up early, hoover & mop through the house so that it's a bit cleaner and then spend the day with DS who I haven't seen since Mother's Day.
I was going to read the paper now, but my bed is calling me. Catch you all tomorrow.
Oh, and enjoy the London meet flyladies!Spend less now, work less later.0 -
OH took Dog for her bedtime walk, and all three pills and one dose of syrup have been supped. She also had the beef bone from the roast on Sunday (sorry LW and other vegetarians) which she loved and OH even managed to get one photograph of her with it to send to her previous owner. We think bones were not part of her life before she came to us, because she doesn't know how to deal with them. She tends to carry them around like a cigar, looking very chipper. Kitchen floor S&S several times to clear up after her, leftovers dinner prepared and scoffed, freezer stock-taken so I can meal plan tomorrow.Better is good enough.0
