    Morning all,

Up and pottering around the house this morning so WM loaded and running and dailies done. Not sure what to do today, I didn't do the garden tidy yesterday that I thought I would but it's very cold and very windy so I don't think I'll venture out today either... DD's are both out at different friends this afternoon, I'm dropping them off after lunch and they won't be back until late so I really should do work on my latest assignment.... Think I'll make a fresh pot of coffee and make a plan :)

Have a good day all, hope the fly ladies have a lovely time in London today, Cake x

    Good afternoon :D

I lost a post earlier  about having no GUAG! So instead of retyping, I sorted a big pile of ignored post :o At least i have done something now :o

DD2 is seeing 1 Direction tonight at the O2 but her friend has let her down at the last minute :mad: She hasn't even paid for the ticket, so she has nothing to lose

  • BTW for my fellow genealogy flyladies, I have access to online newspaper articles prior to 1950 -useful for BMD, especially the obit's as the often list the mourners useful for finding those suspected relatives you can't quite prove by other means.

PM me if you want me to have a look for you :)

Honey Bear Pain-relieving vibes to Dog. The image of Dog carrying a bone like a cigar made me giggle :)

Rowan tree good news about 'new' cat learning to use the cat flap. I remember it took a month to train our cat to use it and even now he prefers to miaow for you to hold it open for him :rotfl:

Not much flying happening here for me this week apart from basic tidying and washing up dishes. My new job has been quite tiring and I have lacked motivation. Tonight I am getting my hair done after the paid stuff (on lunch break now) and then I need to have a quick flying session, do my nails, and pack to go to a friend's wedding tomorrow.

    Today's flying plan:
Dust and hoover living room, hall, stairs.
    Empty kitchen bin
    Empty upstairs bins

Not much but it will take me ages to do my nails and pack after 2 hours at the hairdressers!

Hope all the flyladies meeting today are having a good time.

thanks Mrs MP. The original 'friend' has now said she IS going - she was only joking :mad::mad: Unfortunately, DD hadn't managed to get another friend to go with her so she hasn't lost out. She is meeting them at the station - she had better turn up or I will going to her house and dragging her to the station!!!

Been to Ald1 for a bit of shopping. Why do they insist on throwing your shopping at you at high speed! Nearly broke my biscuits :( I shot her look when said 'Ooops' and laughed. Then made her wait while I gave her the exact money :p

Hall looks better now the post has gone. I have booked the dogs booster jabs (reminder was in the post pile). DH is taking the girls to the station, then taking the dog out. Do I go with him? It is cold and snowing, and he has downloaded podcasts which i know he wants to listen to ;) maybe i will stay here (in the warm :D)

Going to have a quick bit of lunch now, and take some headache tablets. then i need to find something useful to do. DH has woken up DS (who was at a sleepover last night - and none of them slept!! At all!)

    Childrens list.
    Clear and wipe the table
[STRIKE]Load the dishwasher (DW) if you have one[/STRIKE]
Can you fill the washing machine (WM) with things that are all the same colour and switch it on?? This is a very important thing to learn.. many big clever daddies struggle with this job.. even our daddy.. so if you can do this.. you are cleverer than him!
If you are a bigger little person could you wipe over the fronts of the kitchen cupboards and fridge/freezer/washing machine.. sometimes you need to check the insides too as they get a bit sticky..

Mad Tuesday - Living room, Hallway and Stairs
    Level One
[STRIKE]Remove clutter from floors, chairs and fireplace[/STRIKE]
    Level Two

    Extras
Wipe woodwork in the hall and stairs
[STRIKE]Wipe front door.. inside and out![/STRIKE]
HHI.. get that mountain gone - or if it is too big then maybe make a huge dent in it!!!
I think the children who have been most helpful today should decide what you are having for dinner.. and that doesn't mean a takeaway.. we will consider that for the weekend if you are doing a fabulous job!!! Maybe if they are big enough they can help or better still cook for you!!

    Childrens list.
Sort out all the shoes.. make sure there are 2 of them all and put them nicely on the shelf or in the box. Encourage the person who has the most to get rid of a few pairs they never wear!
Oh.. I think you'll like this.. everyone gets a carrier bag.. and spends 5 mintues running all over the house putting rubbish in it.. not other peoples things just rubbish, scrappy papers, junk mail, used envelopes and things like that.. after 5 minutes we weigh all the bags and see who has the heaviest bag. The winner gets a treat (and so does everyone else!)
Pick up all your own things from the front room and put them away in their homes
Water any plants in the house.. I'm always forgetting.
If you are a bigger little person could you vacuum the floors once they are clear of stuff?
