Hi there Trulymadlydeeply. I'm around - just posting - and spotted your message! We've had techie/charger/plug issues recently - isn't it a pain?
Been another mad day here in the Tree house! I did shopping and cleaning again for sick friend this morning, then got us some nice food in for the weekend, and one or two extras as we have visitors tomorrow for two meals. I'd left OH potting some new plants and generally cleaning the patio, then on my return we had a mad two hour clean through, so we are nice and straight for our guests. I'll put a SC meal for tomorrow evening on after breakfast and have a range of quiches, pizzas, salads and garlic bread for lunch, which is easy to prepare.
It sounds like some of you had a nice meet-up yesterday. I would be interested if it was in the NW or Midlands area (have got folk there and often visit).
Good vibes all round - Lame Wolf - I hope all went well with you - and gasp - and hi - to all that Bossymoo and Skint Breeder do for, and with, their little ones - I sometimes am tired out after reading about your busy lives! You do amaze me and it's lovely to hear about what you do. Both of you, some of your meal plans sound really interesting, or is it just me that likes to see what folk eat! (We have a Spag Bol that's nearly ready to eat - it's OH's signature dish and smells yummy!)
Good luck and health wishes all round, R x
PS Deus - I felt better after reading about your cat and the cat-flap! Our boy is getting the hang of it more now and we've found a nice trick with an elastic band that allows the flap to be pushed to, but also allows it to swing open at the slightest (paw) touch! He did seem so proud of himself the first few times!!0 -

And my mum phoned from Scotland where she's visiting friends..... she has confessed to a small accident in the car (which may or not be a writeoff!)
I am tempted to abandon today and go to bed...
Hi Cyclingyorkie. I do hope your DD2 is better soon. I used to get this as a teenager and had a flare up a few years ago - and it's horrible. Sucking on an ice cube can sometimes help the swallowing, but I had to have a spray to 'freeze' the back of my throat - GP gave me pills I couldn't swallow!!
Good luck and good health vibes for her - and I hooe your mum is ok, too. What a shock. R x0 -
Whoop whoop we have a new bucket (old one had a hole in it,dear Liza)

Make the dinner
Tidy the kitchen
Sort out the laundry and put another load on, empty the drier
Sort out some more business paperwork
Sort the plastic containers that I need for planting vegetable and herb seeds
Spend an hour sorting out recipes for the folder that I am putting together
Make lunches for tomorrow
Well it has been another busy evening but everything has now been done. I think its time to get a cuppa whilst watching some tv before heading to bed. I am hoping to have another early start tomorrow as I still have a lot to catch up on this weekend.0 -

Yuck pigpen, the word hash is enough. Rice Ks are mainly air though they won't fill you up! How did they take the news (assuming they did not know)? The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Teasmaid accidentally made me a cup of tea as was setting it for the morning so I'm having one now in bed to make sure the sleepover involves sleep or it will be over. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

I'm not chuckling, honest! Though I am smiling to myself!
Could you please ask DS3 he would mind if Stevenage lose tomorrow?
Got home about 6 tonight and am shattered now - just going to update my list and then head to bed."There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

Got my mopping done, but steam mop is on the blink again, even though I stored it without water in it.
Wiped skirting in study, so that has got rid of a lot of the dust in there.
Specs@vers done, back next Friday for DS glasses
Decluttered some cash in 99p shoppy, got stuff for DD3 which she has to earn the value of, plus toiletries, batteries and stuff.
Rubbish, compost and recycling out ready for saturday collection cos of the bank holiday - nice to be putting it out in daylightshame about the temperature
All out of spoons now, hoping for sleep now and will try painting tomorrow, TTFN :wave:The cold never bothered me anyway0 -
It's been lovely here today *valli looks puzzled* bright blue skies - breezy but washing dried on line (and now all ironed) I will be slipping into clean sheets, line dried and ironed and back on the bed - shortly. According to car thingy was 8/9 degrees. Having said that DD and I drove DS out into the Peak District and there are still drifts (we went the 'pretty way' to Baslow)
And we managed to stop at a cafe on the way home;)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
