    FLOWER!

    Missed you x

    I'm still here and I'm still single:rotfl:
and, spookily, was thinking about you only just the other day.

Co-incidentally I was also telling my colleague at work about a lady I used to see locally, but whio I haven't seen for a while - and guess what! I saw HER in town yesterday.

If I could only channel *those* energies into thinking about Lottery numbers...

*note to self - might help if Valli actually BOUGHT a lottery ticket onee ina while*

    Anyhoo

Was in a panic as I lost my cake recipe, which is on a piece of paper, because I moved it from the kitchen instead of putting it away!

By the time I found it it was too late to bake.

Scary moment last night - heard a bang at the front - DD said 'something' had hit the window - well I heard giggling outside - theres a big stone on the garden this morning!

Have got two loads on line, bathroom has been cleaned. Kitchen has been tidied. Have stripped my bed and that's in the WM

Bossy - don't beat yourself up about DD - she will have forgotten. Don't beat yourself up about cheat tea either - it's only by tasting the 'cheat' stuff they get to realsie how good your HM actually is!
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

R4 switched on. I love being off the paid stuff.

I really enjoyed that. I found it completely by chance and I missed the first 10 mintues or so. I love Radio 4 - it comes up with really odd ideas sometimes that are just amazing.

that is a beautiful thought Bossy, and do you know i honestly believe he is

Well I do too, but this way I can introduce the concept to DS without freaking him out...

We are still in pjs, had smoked salmon and scrambled egg for lunch <nomnomnom> now laid on sofa and kiddies have the fire / rescue toys out.

I've finished DS cape buttonhole, tidied my sewing box and made a couple of pockets for inside it to store ribbon scraps etc. Also sorted through seeds and decided what is going in batch 1. We have no cucumber seeds but I've cut a bit off the one in the fridge to see if I can extract any ;) might do same with cherry toms and grow them in the hanging baskets...

I think mum is coming soon, she'll be eating lunch on her own as we've already scoffed ours...

Can someone please conjure a blizzard or hurricane or tornado or tsunami in the middle of the M62 please? ..

Not sure if I can relocate it, but it's pretty hurricane-like in Herts at the moment. Well maybe not that strong, but it makes up for it in bitterness, and the weather man has just cheerfully said "expect wintry showers anywhere in England!".

    fingers crossed for you.

DS slept well in his room, he said spiderman was looking after him, so not scared at all :A I told him daddy was a secret spiderman fan and would have loved his bedroom. And maybe we should pretend he is looking after us, like spiderman. He seemed to like that idea :A

    That's lovely; you're doing a terrific job.
