Hi everyone, just a quick catch up, another SFD for me. Back from work via a doctors to pick up a letter which gives us all my DD2's stepson vaccinations, they charged me £5:eek: DD2 needed it cos where they live, proof is needed of what hes had so he can go on a school trip, what a con:eek:
Anyway off to cook tea, roasted veg and cauliflower cheese.

Hi all, I have offered to pay half the difference so will wait and see. Thanks for responses, I know I don't have to but my conscience is clear nowHappiness is wanting what you have...0

Very honorable angelpye :T 60p is a standard first class letter, even a largish card is more so it sounds like the buyer really got it wrong. I guess they'll not make that mistake again.
Well, I've still not managed a SFD  Only a little spend today. My car was being serviced so I had to put a little petrol in the courtesy car...2 litres is the minimum fill at a service station so that's what it got! 2 litres exactly, or £2.76 in real terms! Not bad value for the use of a car all day! The service was free thanks to my fab negotiating skills when I bought the car!!
That should be me for a few days now, surely?! I've reached the end of my 2 week staycation, although I don't appear to have had much in the way of free timeBack to my real work tomorrow so I should be back into my routine and there should be less of the small, random spends.
I have chosen 5 of my letter recipients. All I need to do now is actually write the letters and buy the stamps
So far then in April...
SFD: 0/20
Food: £47.86/£80
Petrol: £20/£50
Misc: £39.06/£1000 -
Afternoon all - definity a spend day here - filled the car up with petrol - £73.60!!!
 I panic at around the £45 mark.
Re postage charges - the split seems a good compromise. I agree i wouldnt pay all of it especially if it takes you over your budget. Maybe when you leave feedback you could put something like "postage costs originally underestimated but communication good"? It could still be positive and not catty but atleast it would be a marker for other buyers in case he makes a habit of it.
SFD number 3 for meand money detox day 4 completed. This month i seem to have a real determination to minimise my misc spending.

Had a bad day today and i have sinned big time :-(
Back at the docs again today and ended up with enough tablets to sedate an elephant. Spent rest of the afternoon being tearful and then got pizza (takeout) for tea. £15:50 to add to the food budget and i darent even consider what my prescription cost me. Will go sit on the naughty step now. L2B.xLBM 2008 [STRIKE]£45,091.23[/STRIKE] eek: now £7889:T Debt free date 18/07/20180 -

Woohoo - have managed SFD number 2. I was tempted to stop on the way home for a wee wine as I'm in the house tonight whilst DH works until 10 but I thought about having to confess to y'all and drove straight passed the exit. Came home and took dogs for a walk and then foraged in the fridge for tea.

I'm trying to lose weight as I've put a stone on in 7 months and managed a fast day yday but today I had to help DD with her sweets lol.
