Checking in quickly before bedtime!
SFD here, friends have arrived for the weekend so will buy some drinks in the pub tomorrow - otherwise all is looking wellSeriously money saving0 -
Hey all, spend day today - bits for cupboards to use up the fresh stuff before holiday. I am feeling terrible though as overspent already but will just have to take it out of my spends.
Thanks for all the advice about eBay purchase, I think I probably won't bother selling much as this was just a top and cost over £6 to send!!!! Shocking!!!!
Should be SFD tomorrow, fringes crossed!Happiness is wanting what you have...0 -

evening folks, SFD 3 for me
was sorely tempted to go and buy chocolate but resisted and had healthy snack from fridge instead (not nearly as tasty!). Done most of my food shopping yesterday, will pick up a few more bits tomorrow maybe.

Hi everyone,
Checking in for yesterday (officially its still Thurs in my book as I'm heading to bed now, yawn) was a spend day and I blew it further by having a proper coffee in the canteen...promise not to spend at all on Friday and at work all day so hoping to report my second SFD on Friday evening.
Have just finished icing the wedding cake, feels amazing but think I'll be sleeping before the buffet is served on Saturday :-)) on holiday next week so lots of time to catch up on zzzzzz.
Re postage, I posted a teeny light parcel weighing 150g 2nd class and it cost £2.60! Haven't listed any eBay items yet but will make sure postage costs are covered.
Hope you all have a good Friday!

Checking in for yesterday and today, had a small unbudgeted spend £2.90 for hot chocolate and biscuit was needed though as took kids to park with friends and it was freezing so popped into cafe to warm up. Luckily raided change jars before went so didn't have to use any of my budgeted money.
Will be sfd today as don't need anything and at work all day.0 -
Hi,
Checking in and preempting a SFD as DD woke me up saying she felt poorly at 2am and she didnt fall asleep until 5:30am this morning so I doubt we'll be off out anywhere today and we've plenty in.
Oh I started teaching myself crochet last night (via the help of youtube) and crocheted DD a headband (took me an hour) pretty good for my first ever creation (or stitches for that matter!) and got my first bid on some things I'd put on eBay - so fingers crossed I make some money

Good morning everyone,
I am hoping for a SFD today. A friend has invited us to the play barn again which won't cost us anything to get in but refreshments are another thing. I think I will try and make some biscuits this morning and take them with us with some juice. Gonna take my knitting again so that'll keep my fingers occupied:D
krustylouise was it easy to learn crochet from youtube? I have a few hooks and plenty of wool but never seem to get past a chain. I'd love to make a baby's bottle holder shaped like a monkey from a magazine but a bit nervousTOTAL DEBT £12,212.46/£2000 paid offDebt Free Goal September 2017#106 Emergency Fund £482.53/£10000 -
Morning all!
Krustylouise - so envious of your crochet abilities. I tried and failed miserably after a tantrum or two, my fingers just couldn't do it. I've taken up knitting instead, slightly more successfully, only slightly though
Not going to be a SFD, SM shop planned for lunchtime to stock up on store cupboard and pet essentials.
Oven still not fixed, hoping FIL can find the problem with it or it may mean buying a new one :eek:0
