  • Hi everyone

    Today's report....

    • took photo of item to sell on Ebay & uploaded it to go live this evening :) 3 day listing, so should be ready to go Monday eve
    • Banked £15 cheque from my bday earlier this week - when cleared I'll pay it towards one of my CCs :)
    • Instead of driving to work to print out a document (I'm on Easter hols atm), managed to get my home printer working with my works laptop :)
    • Bought 2 bday cards = £4.90 :undecided
    • Bought a small stapler from Post Office = £1.99 :undecided
    • Lunch & dinner from stores :)
    • Checked online banking _pale_
So another spending day  but at least I've managed to keep it to a minimum by raiding the change pot in the kitchen for the bday cards & stapler, so I haven't made anything worse...

Feeling frustrated as I want so much to earn some more money to start paying off these debts. I know the small steps are important, but I need to do more.... and quickly...!

  • Hello!
Apologies for not checking in yesterday but my health is against me this last day or two, not to worry! Had SFD yesterday and today which brings me up to 4 so far. Tomorrow is food shop so will be a planned spend day.

Am off back to bed and hopefully feel right as rain tomorrow :)

Happy birthday Kat, hope you have a lovely day!

Thought I'd update early this evening then can get on with my knitting/crochet after DS is in bed. Had another SFD which makes 4 :j:j

I went to the play barn with my friend and made fruit scones and flapjacks for snacks as well as drinks. Friend offered to buy me a tea which was nice.

I will have a spend day tomorrow as its food shop day but I have meal planned and written a shopping list. Just done one via Tosco and will take it with me to the market/high street to get cheaper :D. Anything not cheaper will head to the supermarket. Total at the moment is £24.65 which is well under my £30 budget for the week. I think I've cracked it :rotfl:

  • Some people can knit but not crochet and some can crochet but not knit, some lucky beggars can do both! Well done on the knitting I'm hopeless, I nearly end up taking my eyes put with the needles!

I've been knitting for years, but find crochet very difficult, i'm getting there, very slowly though!

Sketchingkara what are crust less quiches?

I make them in muffin tins, I use silicone ones so they pop out easy. I'm gluten free, so I can't have a proper quiche, these are quiche but without the pastry. I can share the recipe if you'd like?
