So far, I seem to be doing quite well for my daughter's outfit. Dress bought in Debenhams sale 70% off, costing £34, in February.Yesterday we went hunting for shoes, and found some in Debenhams sale, exactly the same shade as her dress, for £12.50,minus a £5 love2shop voucher from doing Royal Mail survey. She had to buy a strapless bra, which was £2 in tesco sale in February. She's earmarked a pashmina on Amazon for £15, and she's borrowing a bag. Her friends have decided not to bother with a limo, and they're meeting before to do each others hair and make up.
I really think we've saved a lot by looking around early for bargains. With her hall fees costing £127 a week, she knows she'll be skint next year, so doesn't see the point in going over the top.0
