The way I see it if people promise you money and don't pay its wrong. Jail is the only way to stop this happing to innocent people. The way topcashback advertise on the telly its wrong and the people need to rise to it. I've had a chat to my local MP he is going bring this up in the houses of parliament.0

Hey Everyone
Hope you are all having a great start to the week
@davideo1981 - I am sorry that this experience has left you with a sense of frustration at the processes the team have to go through. As we are not yet confirmed as eligible and as the retailers network did not originally track this we would need to dispute with the affiliate network that we are eligible which is a process that can take considerable time due to the network wanting to check all the information from the purchase before reaching a resolution with us.
We do provide a 12-16 weeks estimate from when the network receives the claim not from when you submitted this. As our team send claims in batches to affiliate networks it can be a little after a member submits a claim before a network receives it for review which in your case was in July. We ask all members to allow this estimate time as the team will post updates the moment they know more but as this is an estimate it can vary.
We do also clearly set out that we cannot guarantee cashback on site and on all offer information. For more information on this please visit this page https://www.topcashback.co.uk/terms under the section on earning cashback.
I am again sorry for the frustration and I am sorry if you think I have not been clear as I have tried to provide all of the information I can see on our side. Our team will be working flat out for all member's claims and we would hope that it's not too much longer for you to see progress on your claim.
Best wishes
Phil

Can i pick you up on that last part that you have put in your post about the fact as you say that you clearly set out that cashback is not guaranteed.
well that is not true is it as i have watched the ads on tv and nowhere in the ads does it state that cashback is not guaranteed not even in the small print at bottom of screen in ads.
how you have got a way with that for so long is beyond me and how OFCOM have not looked into it is also beyond me.
i have just watched a few ads from you on Youtube and not one ad states what you have said and i ask you to retract that fact before you get TCB into anymore trouble.
in case you still think you are telling the truth take a look at this link to the ads just to update your truth buds.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpngFcbQTyE

"We will make all reasonable endeavors to secure the payment of commission on a transaction but we do not and cannot make any guarantee in this regard."
If someone is relying on money from using any site without reading the terms of that site, that's on them. In fact just creating an account requires a declaration that they've read the terms and conditions, where it very clearly states in bold:
"6.5 You acknowledge that the retailer or it’s tracking agency’s decision is final in relation to the payment of commission to us and in turn, our decision is final in relation to paying Cashback to you. We will make all reasonable endeavors to secure the payment of commission on a transaction but we do not and cannot make any guarantee in this regard. In the event we do not receive the expected commission for a transaction for whatever reason, we will not be liable to pay the relevant Cashback to you."
If someone has made a false declaration when signing up because they haven't in fact read the terms, again that is their own responsibility, nobody else's.
The adverts surely cannot be required to list every single term and condition because nobody can actually do anything just from watching the advert alone. They have to create an account in order to use the site which involves the requirement to read the terms and conditions.

davideo1981 said:It's a con can't guarantee cashback yet they still advertising together energy. Phil needs and his team need to be put in jail. The comment above works for topcashback. What's all this bull about July I changed electricity and gas in February it's been my nearly a year. I changed from Scottish power to together energy the reason why is because topcashback offered me money. I suffer with mental health and this has made me really ill. When you write to them they take weeks to reply with the same bull. Surely something can be done about this. I have not once missed a direct debit. This is fraud. Topcashback are killing me. Please someone help me.1

Penguin I have been complaining about this since February if they can't pay out by why the heck are they still advertising together energy today??? I have paid all my direct debits. If companies don't pay within six months delete them from their site. It's not rocket science surely even you can understand this. Please tell me penguin why you and your team have not done this.If the lack of £50odd is affecting your mental health then perhaps you need to look at your spending. This shows me you have no understanding of mental illness. Also it's not about the £50 which is a lot of money it's the fact of being conned. Some please help me.0

The cash back is not 100 guaranteed. They say this on a huge numbers of web pages & even on the Ts&Cs for Together Energy they state- What to do when
- A "Missing Cashback" query must be submitted within 30 days of the transaction, if the transaction does not track automatically.
- We will make all reasonable endeavors to secure the payment of commission on a transaction but we do not and cannot make any guarantee in this regard.

Penguin you haven't answered my question. Why haven't topcashback taking the promotion down when together energy haven't paid out? It's been 10 months since I joined. I've been complaining since April.-1

So you've raised a complaint & they are looking into it. What more do you want? There is bound to be a bit of delay with it all as there is a small matter of a pandemic going on. They certainly aren't a fraudulent company as over 5 years I have received £2614.17 through them & no I don't work for them before you ask.0
