    Always happy to praise TCB however lately payment is very slow. Its taken along time for SSE payment and now:-

    "Unfortunately the following transactions can’t be included in your payment as since it became ‘Payable’ there has been a reporting inconsistency for this transaction. Please can you check this later at which point we hope to have it resolved and included in your payout. If you don’t believe you still qualify for this transaction, please click the ‘Cancel Transaction’ button"

    Customer service just gave a standard answer saying sorry! Poor service and waited so long.

  • I'm about to buy a holiday via Expedia. On the Expedia website, you can enter details of loyalty schemes you are part of. If I enter my avios card number, will I earn topcashback and avios points for the same transaction.

    I can see no reference within the topcashback site to say that you can't earn 2 rewards for the same transaction but I wanted to check first.

    If this is not possible, then how can I compare the rewards from both schemes to see which one is more attractive?

  • I applied for car insurance via topcashback in December to start in January with MoreThan, £75 cashback - lovely!!

    transaction tracked, and amount showed perfect, then the transaction went to confirmed but changed to £0!! in February. Contacted TopCashback straight away but advised aware of it and to wait... communication continued and continually told to wait and aware of it until it got to June and told to lodge missing cashback claim as had become payable at £0.

    Received reply to state merchant cannot associate with TopCashback.... this is a bloody con. I feel that TopCashback have dodged sorting this at the first sign of trouble with this and waited until it becomes something that can be palmed off onto the merchant.

    Sorry not acceptable, will be sending a formal written complaint to both merchant and TopCashback and contacting Trading standards in this regard.

    So dissappointed!!

    There seems to be yet another problem on TCB with insurers and high value non paying merchants. 1ceiwasafoll I suggest you do what other TCB disgruntled members are doing and take your case to the Financial Ombudsmen

    I am sure that one day in the near future we will see massive compensation payouts (similar to the banks misselling) because of the non regulation of cashback sites and their affiliates. The whole system in it's present form is wide open to abuse, corruption and customer rip offs.

    @1ceiwasafool - I'm sorry to hear that you've had declined cashback. This sounds to me like you might just need the 100 day limit over-riding on your transaction, which I am happy to do for you. Please can you e-mail in to MSE@topcashback.co.uk so that I can take a closer look at your account? I can assure you that TopCashback is in no way a con and the vast majority of transactions made via our site are tracked and paid successfully.

    @baranbee - I can assure you that there is absolutely no correlation between the value of cashback and whether or not it tracks, nor is there an issue with our insurance merchants. Sometimes things do go wrong with cashback, such as a declined or untracked transaction. If this happens then we ask our members to lodge Missing Cashback claims so we can try and find out why a transaction has maybe been declined and so that we can recover cashback where possible.

    I have several amounts outstanding including 3 Insurance related, which I note do seem to take a long time to confirm etc but I have a gloomy feeling about these noting other posters comments about non payment.
    Additionally I have 2 Expedia and 3 hotels.com claims (some from bookings made in January) that have tracked but not confirmed, despite the stays all having been completed. How long does it take for these to become confirmed then payable, I have to part with my money at booking - surely TCB/Merchant should be more reactive to payment.
    Also I have 2 lastminute.com bookings, one of which was completed two weeks ago and has been confirmed for sometime. Again no payment and we are now past the 11 weeks quoted for payment.
    Can somebody at TCB please look at these issues, as I am now beginning to lose confidence in your organisation, after many transactions previously.
    Just realised I also have a Black Circles tyres purchase not tracked. Come on TCB get things sorted.
