I wouldn't be pushing rubbish like Jonathon Creek or Sherlock .
What about going to Blockbusters and getting the person to choose what they want. That's what I would do.

Well, he likes "rubbish" like Sherlock, so the responses have been spot on.
Isn't the beauty of forums like these that we can share and get ideas from others? It's been insightful for me, I've got a list of about 8 that might work for us and 2 definites already bought from Amazon that I will watch either alone or with my husband. I would never have known had I not asked.0 -
Suits is excellent - it's our favourite here atm. There's also Human Target, a new series of Murdoch Mysteries and Alphas is good too.I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

Friday Night Lights
Alias
Prison Break
Walking Dead
Falling Skies
Jericho
We love the good wife, the wire and homeland.
Game of Thrones & Spartacus but not for a young teenager, very rude :-O.
My 17 year old likes Blue Bloods, Arrow, Primeval: New World.0 -

A courteous and gracious post, gingin.
Were you a francophile,[and even if you weren't!] I'd also long for you to see these:
La Gloire de Mon Père and Le Château de Ma Mère.
But I'd require everyone to see these.
Dark and gritty, superb, on i-player is Les Engrenages / Spiral, ex BBC4.
I mentioned Library, hoping your local one is a great resource. Cambridge Central is - we are lucky.
I'm not a Cumberbatch fan and didn't bother with Sherlock as the late Jeremy Brett is, for me, beyond betterment. Happy to have Spooks though.
'Isn't the beauty of forums like these that we can share and get ideas from others?' -exactly so. But some posters lack this empathy.
A plea for another? - Armadillo.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:
