But I have a sneeky plane as he's at work and I'm not, I 'm going to take stuff over the next few days to the dump or charity shops so hopefully he will not notice !
So can I join you lovely people on here as I need the moral support to do this.

It doesn't matter which paper it is, as long as it is in good condition. My grand-daughter was born then and I intended to get a paper as a keepsake but forgot in all the chaos!

Same reason for the 2011 paper but I know this is more of a wild goose chase :( (I do keep checking ebay, no luck so far)

    Thanks

If I can't find one for you I think you can order them, I'm pretty sure there is a service that does this or you can do it direct with a newspaper company. HTH :)

Maybe check with the parents whether they would want one as a keepsake. My mum used to save the papers from Royal Weddings and other occasions for my children. Frankly, it was more of a hassle; yes, it was quite interesting to look at for 10 mins occasionally but not worth the storage element in my opinion. But we are all different and, like anything else, if the pleasure you derive from it is enormous, then of course it is worth it.

A new day and less clutter :)
The journey of less isn't difficult with small steps, a little toss out every day helps.
I looked in my kitchen cupboards this morning and saw everything fitted and was tidy. No mugs or glasses on counters because they will not fit in the cupboard.
On the worktop I have a list for grocery shopping tonight.

My toaster always goes away after morning use.
My heavy mixer and food steamer are out all the time. Both get used alot.
More stuff would be in cupboards if I had them. Alsas a small galley kitchen.
I do have a small utility room. Next on the list for a declutter of the x2 shelves.
Plastic coat hangers are heading for the bin today (the free type)
Coloured ones are used for hanging wet clothed in Winter.

I can see by decluttering/passing on the stuff we no longer need now the children are grown and x2 left home. Our home looks more spacious.

Have a good day, a little at a time.
The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)

While DH was in the bathroom, I managed to get dry clothes put away.

Need to get rid of some cushions. We seem to have acquired extras.

Washing went on the line this morning. I love doing washing now. When DD was out for the day, I was trying to make her not miss me by telling her that I was going to wash the bedding. She scrunched her little face up delightedly and said, 'Don't tell me...I want it to be a lovely surprise for me and daddy to come home and see all the fresh washing on the line!'

I had one of those revelations earlier about dehoarding but I cannot remember what it was.

well that was nice of them..
hubby phoned about my non home delivery yesterday, and they were sposed to ring me back by 10. no call, so i have just rang. only to be told my delivery was cancelled this morning. so now i have no milk and no bread unless they can uncancel my order and deliver it today witch i doubt. and hubby doesnt have any money or a bank card on him to get some on the way home form work. so i am slightly unimpressed. not sure how long i should wait for the call back i was told i would get. twice i have been told i would get a call back and they have not done so.
i asked what store is the one that makes the deliverys to our area, and i was given the name, maybe i ought to make the call to the store rather than waiting for the gentleman i spoke to on the phone, ring them like he said and to ring me back once he had. as ive not had any of the call backs ive been told i would have since i tried sorting this out last night.
maybe i wont use the service again, its easier as i can get what i need without going out and i dont get non essential items.
when i go shopping i get flustered especially if the shop is rather busy. one time i ended up concentrating on the price of eggs and a concentrating mechanism , i hadforgotten my ipod, and without realising it i spent an hour trying to figure out what egges were the cheaper ones to buy, shops own or a slightly more expensive brand that were on offer, turned out the more expensive ones with the offer would have been cheaper i the long run. and i think i had basically zoned out, and only came to when someone i knew bumped me with their trolley to say hi, problem was i looked at them and didnt recognise them cos of the state of mind i was in.
suddenly dawned on me who it was when i left the store then ended up having to make a side trip up to my dads to ask my step mum next time she sees her could she apologise for me as i was just so flustered i didnt realise who they were while i was still in the shop. gotta say getting that flustered is very draining. but it seems to be an automatic thing i do to cope.

Not much decluttering today - apart from the washing basket and an empty fabric softener bottle!
Decluttered 5lb of rhubarb into breakfast jam & 8 jam jars to put it in. Trouble is the full jam jars will go back in the same cupboard on a different shelf- haha.
Did a proper clean of my utility room & toilet & washed all the floors in the kitchen & breakfast room so I've had enough for now so taking a half hour break ;)

only thing they will probably do is give me reduced delivery cost next time or somehthing like that, thats if they will do anything, im always surprised when some places actually take complaints on board.

i complained about the way i was treated when i went into tescos last year and they sent me a gift card as an apology, hubby had bought me and car charger and plug for my ipod, and the plug broke after a couple of months, no idea what happened it just literally stopped working, as it was within warranty i went back to the original store it was brought form witch is about 60 miles away, and spoke to customer services, they said i had to go to the electrical desk and speak the the customer services there.
so went round to the electrical desk, and got told i had to go to normal customer services at the front of the store, so went back and said the electrical desk told me it was here i needed cos i was hoping for a replacement, to be told we dont deal with the electrical items, only the electrical desk does.
so back i went up to electrical desk. and told them what i had been told by the desk at the front of the store, then they said as long as i had the box or the receipt i could exchange, i only had the receipt on me so took that out then they changed their minds and said i needed the box aswell and wouldnt do anything else, so when i got home i emailed the complaints department, and gave them the details i had for when it was bought from my bank statement and my tesco club card number.
they got back to me in less than 24 hours with an apology and told me that i should have received the exchange without any problems and they wanted to know what store and on what day i had gone in, a few days later i received a gift card in the post with a letter of apology about the way things had been handled in the store on the day that i went in.

will say i hadnt actually expected that i was just hoping that they would say i could do something like maybe take a procedure number or a letter or something into any store and get a replacement for the broken item
unfortunately i couldnt get the same one, but at least i managed to get something i could use.

not so much decluttering but i threw away the broken toilet seat hinges i just replaced, for some unknown reason one of the hinges decided to break a few months back, and i was looking for a new seat but couldnt find one i liked the look of, mine has pictures on it lol, (dolphins/fish), and when i did find one i liked i wasnt willing to pay the price, they wanted 40 for the seat and more again for postage and i wasnt paying it. and for some strange reason, i hadnt thought about just seeing if i could get hinges and replace them, so found them for a fiver the other day, they arrived in post this afternoon and i fixed the seat, so no more wobbly seat yay.

no idea what made a metal hinge snap in the first place but at least its fixed now.
no headache today so gonna declutter the pet hair off the carpet now, will probably hoover up an amount equilivalant of another small dog or cat usually do when its left 3 days, try to do it every other day, unless it needs it sooner or its big bin day not just recycling then i either do it a day early or a day late and then see if i can find anything else to do, still got another card to make maybe see if i can find some inspiration for that. usually that involves spreading as much craft stuff as i possibly can over the table and staring at it until something jumps out at me. that will go with that etc. or i just glance now and then when im walking past it and i see something that will go with that, and that will go and that backing will look nice, so sometimes takes a couple of days on one card, i choose a topper then wait for stuff that will go with it to jump at me or choose a backing and wait for something to jump that goes with that :)
