Carpet is fitted. Room is empty but fabulously lovely. DD was so excited that she has been running round in circles in it, squealing in delight.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. congratulations WW !!! My children do that too.. run in circles squealing 'roooooom!!!' and they lay on the floor and spread out.. as many as possible without touching each other.. my oldest daughter is 20 in 5 weeks and spread herself out a few days ago on my floor!

My sister is coming to rifle through the outgrown clothes from my 9 y/o and the rest can go to CS too.

pigpen, I laughed at your post because I have just come out of the room, having been lying spreadeagled, before I saw your comments.
How is everyone? How are you today, JAT?:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
There is a big pile of dry clothes to out away. It is making the place look really untidy - DH took it off the line and nothing is folded.
I have put some more washing in. Hopefully I can put that on the line - the sky doesn't look particularly cheerful though.
Have some carpet offcuts to get rid of, there is also a big enough offcut to perhaps line our understair cupboard so we may keep that.
The bed needs to be made - we had to take it apart to move it for the carpet.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
has been a lovely morning so far here, really makes an enormous difference to my mood, I couldn't live anywhere where it is relentlessly sunny, but having grown up predominantly in the southeast of England, I am used to a far bigger percentage of days that at least in part featured blue sky than Wales has offered in the last 15 years.
so started on some garden tidying, every little bit helps:AA/give up smoking (done)0 -

I do that too. I love new carpet
Several bags out to the chazzer yesterday and three more waiting -- either for a bag through the door or another stroll with the Wally trolley. (Nothing in :T)
Conservatory cleared, tidied and cleaned.

I burnt two tarts that I'd made. After a week in the fridge I concluded that we will not eat them so they are gone.It is a waste but 'filing' them for a week doesn't make it any less of a waste. It would have been better to bin them straight away. I have been balancing stuff around them all week. They were aspirational tarts anyway for a John lewis summer family occasion in my massive garden with the weeping willow trailing into the stream I haven't got.
The washing is on the line. The next load of bed linen is nearly ready to go out.
The dismantled bed is in the new bedroom, although it is still dismantled. I am gradually reclaiming the house!:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

I've decluttered some weeds today too - the front border looks marginally less awful. Only marginally, mind you.
It's our church summer fair soon so I shall be decluttering some books to that0
