PDSA use loads of towels and bedding to keep their furries comfy Otherwise charity shop them!
Homeless hostels, Sallys army and womens refuges will give them to those in need too.

I got a load of washing on the line but I have had to finish it off in the drier. That is now away.
2 big books by the back door to go tomorrow.
DH is at work (double pay!). DS is out. DD is having a chillout day... she just said, I like being here with you. She's only little, and I treasure these moments.
I need to force myself to do some financial paperwork. I can't be bothered but every 15 min helps. DH had to throw away a £2.50 voucher as it was just out of date. It annoys me that he isn't more careful about things like that that he can control but he does work hard for us, bless him.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. didnt ge tmuch done today, but sorted out my bedside table and one of the cupboards above the bed, some old meds i forgot about that i had fromt he hospital when i was in last having an extremely painful abcess removed, sent me home with paracetamol. but partacetamol dont touch me they like taking smarties, i told them there was no point in giving them to me would just take my script ones, but they gave them to me anyway. i use cocodamol and brufen for my back. also some dressings and saline was left there. dressings always come in handy when an abcess flares up so have put them into the first aid box.
not as much junk as i expected to find in bedside, but i did find 2 mags from 2009 :undecided
had a quick glance through them, have definately read them i kinda remember the stories, couldnt see any other reason for why i would have kept them apart from maybe to pass on to my nan, so have recycled them as i will probably forget to pass them on next time i see her any way, and dont want them sitting there for another 5 years and if i put them any where else, i will probably never find them again.
im not sure what to do at the moment, i want to empty the cupboards in the bedroom ready to move the furniture to the other room, but i think its another week before the carpet will be ready to be delivered and i gotta get the money to pay for it as well, should get most of it this weekend.
once the carpet is put down, need to hope my back holds out as my husband wants us to move the furniture ourselves and not bother asking any one cos usually no ones available when we need help any way so he doesnt see the point in asking any way. then the back bedroom will be empty ready for me to move dining table in there, and thats when i start tidying the living room, but im not sure what to do, tidy living room or start emptying cupboards and wardrobes from bedroom.
but then when i can aswell, i have to try and move all the stuff from living room into what will be dining room witch is half the size, so i can decorate in there. did have plan but i cant remember what way i was going to do everything. if it was possible to just move the furniture in to the middle of the room i would, but thats not going to be easy if we can afford the new carpet for the living room, as the one we got is, well, i laid it myself, and i dont think i did a bad job, but its too light for the amount of animals we got, and theres marks and stains all over it.
our old dog keeps having accidents, and we had a young dog at one point that we had to rehome due to aggression issues we didnt know how to combat, actually it was when he bit me we decided he had to go, my own fault i shouldnt have stepped between him and one of our older dogs when he was going for our older dogs throat, he was trying to show dominance towards him and i was trying to stop it as we didnt think it was fair on our older dog that he was getting jumped at basically for trying to walk past him. so theres accident marks we have not been able to wash out from our oldest dog but they are recent, i should get my carpet shampooer back from my sister that may help, but theres also teriitorial marking that went on with the young dog, and even tho we washed the carpet straight away when he done it there has always been darker patches left in what he seen as his areas.
any way, i need to try and write a plan out for what im going to do next. but its figuring out what the next move is going to be.0 -
I got the skirts out for mending.
Some books and the too short blouse have gone.
Some loose paperwork from my handbag has been put for the accountants' stuff.
Wet bedclothes washed and in the drier. Beds made and dry washing away, and dishwasher on. That'll be it for now.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

Today DD came round with DGS (11) and they de-cluttered the back garden of weeds. We have a flowerbed under the windows and a patio, weeds were growing well in patio flagstone gaps.
DGS was happy with the £2.50 he earned for his efforts of an hour or so's work, I felt a little mean but reasoned that if I gave too much he would expect more and more next time. His Mum did three times the amount of work for free!
So, de-cluttered patio.
Also out, two books for DGS to read from Am@zon and two tubs of Garnier Spanish astringent face wipes given to me by a friend for DD and DGD. They were given to her but are too drying for me, as they are for her. Finally they will be used!
The packs were sealed so they are still fresh.
DS also sorted out the food cupboards as, like DD he had the day off, and binned OOD items - will bite the bullet on this one, as I tend to use OOD dry goods for a good few months.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0
