Recycling bins being emptied today which means I can sort the bottles in the bathroom :D That should clear a chunk of space.

I made a very slow start on the kitchen again.. why is it the same places get cluttered up time and time again??

  • I had a bid on Eb.. so the dining table and 6 chairs will be leaving the house. :D
Now just need to sell the bedroom unit plus 2 kitchen stools. :(
I have a solid wood chest of drawers in the garage that is going in our bedroom. It was being thrown out by neighbours - much nicer than the 1970s/80s bedroom unit Mr F had.
I am going to paint the chest of drawers. I also have in the garage - another set of drawers - again - free from a neighbour. That can be painted as well - not sure if I will put it in the bedroom or my craft room.
My DD teaches reception class - going to sort a bag of craft stuff out for her. I have lots of craft stuff - I will never use. My crafting style has changed over the years. The little ones at school will have fun with the glitter glues and sequins.
More stuff to sort for the charity shop as well.
Bags of receipts to be sorted and shredded - am I getting there? :o

Definately getting there Florenceem! I too have chests of drawers in various stages of undercoat/paint/bare - of course none completed!

Can recycling day today - put out some extra bags so all the cans have gone!

Cut the front grass, cleaned the front door and front window, trimmed back some shrubbery in the front and all away in garden bin which is being emptied later this week.

Sticking to my hoovering/washing up every day and it's really helping it stop being so overwhelming. Don't feel like I'm actually biting into the 'stuff' but am still pleased with my progress.

  • When my friend moved her daughter's bunk beds to split them down to singles, she found eight dummies where the youngest (about 2yrs old) had been 'keeping' them

    Loving the pics......brilliant.

My cat had her stash under the sofa, now it's all over the stairs.

No throwing out today, too busy rattling around the kitchen and cooking....but have cleared up after myself so it still all looks clean and tidy.
This evening repaired shed. The sides had warped so there were big gaps in it, and one of the windows was smashed. So I have staple-gunned some heavy duty plastic to the side warped and over the window area. Doesn't really look the best, but it will be water/snow-proof for the winter hopefully. Will need to buy a torch to see in there now though as pitch black as the plastic is a dark grey so no light gets in there now.

Back on shifts tomorrow, so not much if anything will get done for a few days.
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.
  • 2 more big bags of stuff + a storage trolley has gone to the charity shop today.
I gave my DD 2 bags of bits to take to school for the little ones.
    So stuff going out.
It's my Birthday today - stuff came in - mostly edible pressies.
