Faith Healer

Hi All,

A friend of mine recently visited a faith healer whom she felt was very accurate in reading her and whom made some accurate predictions for the future. The main point of the visit was to get a healing done which took 3 visits and my friend now feels like a new person.

I went to this person for a laugh as I was at a loose end 1 day, she did seem to pick up on things that had happened in my life and as for the future she seen some things that I had been mulling over but told nobody about. She wanted to perform a healing on me which I allowed and now I feel terrible, in fact I haven't felt this bad since I went though some personal issues towards the middle of last year. I contacted the faith healer and she says that the body is detoxing and it will take 2 more visits to be completely cured.

I have to say from the outset that this lady isn't doing it for the money as what I'm paying her is pitance and seems more a token sum, however I was wondering if anyone else on here ever experienced work from a faith healer and what was your experience like?

Thanks

Do you mean you feel terrible physically or mentally?

What do you want people to say? It's bollox, all of it. The only reason that it possibly has an effect is because people believe they're going to feel differently hence they do. The mind is a powerful thing and many illnesses have a psychological component.

I'd like to see the stats on how many cancers have been cured by faith healing.

And, btw, faith healers don't tell you the future like some Mystic Meg. Sounds like a complete mish-mash of hocus-pocus stuff to me. Was she wafting her crystals around at the same time as telling you your future and healing your ills?

  • Faith healing is a load of bunkum. This creature is a total charlatan.

Eat better, get some exercise and do some positive things. That should help stop you feeling terrible.

Hope you soon feel better. x

    Happy moneysaving all.

    Why are you paying her?

Ask her exactly which toxins the body is getting rid of and how.
  • Faith-healing can appear to work because the subjects believe it will. If it really did work it would be available on the NHS. Think how many doctors, surgeons and nurses could be got rid of it did.

For me, faith-healing and mediums fall into the same category of charlatans, preying on the gullible and/or desperate. Funny that we've not heard from Doris Stokes in quite a while, isn't it?

It could be all in the mind but it just freaked me out when my mind started working overtime and then I began to feel physically sick.

I'd feel pretty sick if I was slowly realising that I'd been conned out of twenty quid.
