Yes, be there for when he calls. Playing games isn't a good way to start of what could become something good.

Also, try not to build things up too much. I know what it's like getting to know people online/text but they can be different in real life. That "spark" just may not be there.

i quite like cinema as a first date with someone you don;t know. Its a longer event than just meeting for coffee but not the pressure to chat for 3 hours if its dinner. chat before film and after film and have dinner next time if you fancy one another.

Its great when you first meet someone you like, all the excitement, anticipation with messages, phone calls, butterflies, deciding what to wear and where to go etc.....

Yeah there is nothing better than that buzz, walking round with a stupid grin on your face and your head turning to mush

The best bit though when you first meet someone you like and you have the eye contact - you know the "look" where your eyes meet just for that little bit too long and you go all funny

They say the eyes are the window to the soul - sometimes with eyes theres no need for words

lets hope this is what betty gets!

Angel 777, I really want to know what's going to happen as well. I think the date will only be next weekend.....but by text and over the phone he is just amazing. Still a bit worried as I'm still married. I know some say it's just a piece of paper......but I don't want to been as committing adultry. Thanks for your thought.

I met my OH through a blind date (without the luxury of texts and phone calls earlier), we were set up through friends.

I had my *emergency* back-up (as did he, the cheeky s*d ) but we didn't need it and nearly 7 years on we're still going strong.

I will be awaiting the *results* eagerly :rotfl:

MM, we spoke on the phone lastnight again....this time for about 1 hour. His divorce will be through any day. Although I have seen a Solicitor my hasn't yet started (I didn't know that for adultry you are supposed to file for divorce within 6 months) - I tried to 8 months afterwards. I can go for unreasonable behaviour. She wants dates that certain things happened, and although I can tell her everything it's remembering the dates. My husband seems to be stalling. He said he wanted to go through mediaton first so I went to my first appointment and he hasn't gone yet. It's at the end I feel.........but I am wondering what he will say or do if he finds out about this other guy. We get on so well over the phone and both of us wonder if we are going to like each other when we meet face to face........: -

Hey - dont worry about the divorce just let it happen and get on with your life. Your husband has no rights over you after what he has done, and you are not doing anything wrong. You are entitled to alife of your own. You could get knocked down by a bus before your divorce comes through so don't hold back!

Has he sent you a photo or anything?

Hi Mortgage Mamma, I haven't asked for a photo yet because think he will then ask me for one....I don't have any on this laptop (my previous laptop died recently taking all my pictures with it : ( ). We have been texting each other loads today. He has so far come across kind, caring and thoughtful. I have been thinking about him most of today.

We are meeting as far as I am aware next week (friday). It's my husbands turn with our little girl. He has asked me to look after her on Saturday night as he needs to work which is fine. Today, I texted him to remind him of this arrangement as he has memory like a sieve and he tells me he has booked to go diving with a friend! It really irritates me when he just assumes that I can take care of her and P*sses me off when he trys to arrange my life like the arrangments for next weekend for example!

Sorry to have a rant....it's very much off topic I know. : )
