  • I am sorry that this !!!!!! illness hasn't gone. I did a google search, as I don't know much about it, it looks awful! No wonder you are feeling so down :(

It must be in part stress. I know my friend's little girl had it, ages ago, I will text her tomorrow cos she eventually found a cream that was really good. I know she cut down on milk and drank water. But she never really knew if it was the water that helped or the no milk if you see what I mean.

I hope you can get more time off work, you can't feel like going in at the moment.

    Massive hugs XXXXXXXXXX

Hi - loving our 100 day challenge - may just copy that if I may?

On the YNAB front I can recommend it - and they've just brought out an ipad app so you'll be okay. If you get it then listening to some of the webinars would be helpful as well.

However - you have enough at the moment so take care of yourselves xx
    44 day challenge

    1. Pay £650 off overdraft (£ 288/ £650)
    2. Lose 12 lbs (4.5/ 12)

Thanks all and Ninno feel free to join the 100 day challenge. I've had to break mine down into 10 day mini challenges as I do tend to lose interest after the initial excitement of a new challenge.

Today has been subdued with the dreaded results hanging over us. We went into town for a coffee today and I picked up some Simple shampoo, conditioner, deodorant and a tub of acqueous cream from Poundland. We were meant to be going to a local outdoor show but I really didn't feel up to it so we sat in the garden all afternoon in the lovely sunshine. DS and OH brought GD round and it was lovely to see her. She has the loveliest colour hair - reddish blonde (mum is a redhead) and she's a lovely baby, really coming on now.

Not planning to go back to work until at least Wednesday, I was going to take Monday off anyway and Tuesday I have docs. Need to go back soon though as I am meant to be going to London mid September to take meeting notes and I was looking forward to the change in routine. And they were relying on me as I can do shorthand and no one else can.

I've promised Mr SA if all goes well tomorrow we will use the van money to book a holiday if we can get a decent deal for October/November. Would be good to coincide it with end of 100 day challenge.

Purse is now down to £20 ish. Drawing out cash is really making me sit up and take note. Mr SA wanted to go to Primark to look for a sweatshirt but I told him it would have to wait until next week as we are sticking to weekly budget. He protested saying he might not have long left so I said then it would be a waste of money in that case. Sometimes you just have to keep your sense of humour.

Will be keeping everything crossed that the results are good tomorrow and that you sleep well tonight instead of worrying. Also hope you feel better soon.

Sending you lots of hugs.... Hoping you will get a restful night sleep.

It s very true what that say the fear of the unknown is worse then dealing with the reality.

I will be thinking of you all tomorrow x

Thank you all for your thoughts

I've been like a cat on hot bricks all day. Been trying to keep busy, cleaned the whole house and tried to read a bit. The carer has taken Mr SA and the dog out for an hour to try to take his mind off it. Not making another 4pm appointment it's like torture.

Been awake most of the night scratching, still so sore. Mind was churning and as if there wasn't enough to think about it was 14 years ago yesterday since I lost my lovely mum to a brain tumour.

Mr SA's PIP went in the bank today so I decided to pay some more off debt. I had some money towards the next £300 payment in the bank and decided to just go for it and pay another £300 off rather than be OCD and wait until later in the month. I just want it gone now.

    So new totals are:

    Tesco card £0 - cleared:)
    Barclaycard £300
    Halifax card £1765
    TOTAL £2065

Looking a lot better now. Anything that's now put on the Tesco card has to be cleared straightaway. I'm trying to operate mostly in cash so should only be online stuff. I'm getting stuck into the Barclaycard next and I'm aiming the clear this by September payday. DD pays her board this Friday so there's another payment.

Will be back tonight with hopefully some good news. Everything is crossed!

  • SA, you are amazing.

I too have a clean house and did some serious gardening. bit late in the year but dealt with some nervous energy.
