Well your good wishes worked :) Good news - scan showed no sign of lymphoma again, so he's still in remission :)

Consultant said he will never be normal again due to extensive brain damage but a small price to pay for life don't you think. Mr SA asked about prognosis and he was told it can come back at any time. So we need to live for today.

So HUGE sigh of relief and no more scans until the New Year.

As for me I have done nothing but scratch all day, eyes streaming and nose running. Doctors tomorrow at 10.

  • Awesome news (apart from you still being poorly). I'm so happy for you both Xx

Glad you had good news on OH, how did he take the news, has he calmed down now he knows he's still in remission. Firm believer in live for today (as long as you don't go into debt ). I lost a dear friend just before his 50th birthday who had a long battle with cancer who always reminded me" to go for it".

Now lets hope your itching decides to disappear and leave you in piece.x

Great news re the remission. Hope OH wasn't too upset about the forever damage though.

Fingers crossed now that GP can come up with a treatment that'll soothe your problems, although suspect now one stress is removed it may improve

Thanks all. Mr SA knows he's lucky to be here so accepts the brain damage. His quality of life is fine, although compromised, and is much better than what could have been last year. Things could be a lot worse. He does realise this.

I think I'm allergic to something as the runny eyes and nose along with the itching can't be just stress related surely? Feel like I've got permanent hayfever. Hopefully I'll get the ball rolling at Doctor's tomorrow.
