Royal Mail new prices released

Just been online at royal mail, the price finder has not been updated to help with the new changes. I thought you would be able to go on and enter weight/dimensions and get a quote? The guidelines are very confusing! Still offering standard parcels too, I thought this had been scrapped?
Surely royal mail could have put a bit of money into advertising these changes, like last time we got leaflets at home, a size gauge would be handy too!
Hopefully the website will be updated tomorrow when the changes come into effect!0 -

Just curious if anyone can help, I've got a few parcels wrapped and ready to go tomorrow, i thought i would be fine because they are under the 16x16x16 for small parcels, however they are 15cm x 9 cm cylinder shape... Will they say this is a medium parcel... surely they cant because it is smaller than the 16x16x16cm's.... why is nothing simple0

well i would be laughing my head off... except for the loss of occasional income this is going to cost me. have suspended all my amazon inventory until i can work out what my new costs will be. have de-listed all my ebay items. i doubt very much i will continue to sell (and, shoot yourself in the foot Royal Mail, post!).0 -

I agree, I anticipate a few people on here in a week or so 's time asking why their buyer won't pay more for postage when the prices have gone up. I also anticipate several threads be moaning the fact that no one announced these increases. I gave up on the facebook group, they are quite insistent that the PDF I posted was wrong and all will continue to take their shoe boxes with dodgy Nike's to the PO and expect postage to be around £3-£4 recorded.
Loads of china going up today (I watch the categories as I have a lot to sell myself) due to it being free listing, and quite a high percentage with p and p charges that cannot be achieved. I did consider emailing a small private seller who has postage of less than £3 for a 6 cup tea pot 1st class postage- hmm.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
