Royal Mail new prices released

Well, sticking with RM in the short term, it is now cheaper for us to post some of our bulkier, but light, items to Europe, America and Australia than it is to somewhere in the UK (£5.65 in the UK, £3.50 to Europe!). I still don't see the logic in this new batch of pricing, but it has made us determined to increase sales to qualify for a business account with RM so that we can benefit from cheaper postage prices!0

In the true spirit of moneysavingexpert.com, you would use different mailing solutions for different packages and destinations, but there is a trade off in both the time and complexity this places on a business, especially if you have to train staff to make these decisions. At the end of the day, if you have the time to do it, you can, or is it time better spent honing your business? These are questions we all face.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. And if you are borderline on volume, you have to jump one way or the other anyway if you want to qualify for discounted prices. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -

Wouldnt mind but it only weighs 525g its over the 8cm depth though. Should have listed last week!
£3 or £3.30 with myhermes0 -

It really depends on what sort of account you go for, ,do you send a minimum of 1000 parcels a year or larger volumes? There is a call back scheme on the Royal Mail site where they will call you back at some point and discuss solutions with you.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
