FWIW this is how my speeds have changed so far (on day 5):
BE 6305 1066 (immediately before migration)
Sky
Day 1 4095 606
Day 2 4096 672
Day 3 5635 625
Day 4 5290 468
Day 5 5904 568
With BE I was on ADSL2+, but that seems to have changed to ADSL2 with Sky. Somehow it doesn't look as if my upload speed will get back to where it had been with BE.
it is now day 8 and my speeds were about the same as above
days 6-8 7500 750 which is still below what o2 gave me (1200 1000)
will give it the full 10 days before I phone sky up again....but still using o2 router instead of free sky one as I couldn't be bothered changing all passwords on various laptops games consoles phones etc0 -

Got a text to say my switchover happened on 28th january and while everything seems to be working ok the internet light on my old router is red.....is this normal?
Also should I have received a new sky router or are the just going ahead using the old o2 router?0 -
You normally keep the o2 router.
They have been offering new routers as a sweetener to get people to move early and take out a new 12 month contract.0 -
Hi,
I've just receive notification of my first bill. I can see I received the promised £75 credit BUT this is what is on my bill:
Supplement for not having Sky TV 27 Jan - 26 Feb £2.50
Broadband Subscription Discounted 27 Jan - 26 Feb - £2.50
Sky Broadband Unlimited 27 Jan - 26 Feb £7.50
Broadband Activation Fee Discount 10 Jan - 10 Jan - £75.00
Credit Adjustment 10 Jan - 10 Jan - £1.06
Broadband Activation Fee 10 Jan - 10 Jan £75.00
What is "broadband activation fee" I've never heard of??? I guess it's back on the phone with customer services GRRR0 -

Yes, but I still should be in credit for the £75 credit offer. At least you have the -£7.5 for broadband. I am chatting with them right now. We'll see what they say.0 -
They have credited you for the £75 "activation fee" (there are 2 entries for this)
Your £75 credit "bribe" will be a different item altogether.
Others have posted that they had to get their phonecalls listened to regarding the "bribe" to get it eventually added to their accounts.0 -

ok, after quite a while, they replied: " I apologize that the credit was not applied. I have applied the credit of £75 on your account."
Great that it's sorted, but it's the third time that I have to "fight" with them on the phone or on chat to get the promised offer....0
