Just had a cold call on my mobile from what appears to be from Sky (didn't answer but checked the number on the net), I assume that O2 have passed on my number. Looks like I will be looking for a new mobile company from Oct'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0

o2 aren't too helpful over this, simply saying sky have full access to o2 broadband customers account/contact details, and they can't stop them ringing.
Sky are using the associated o2 number (for the bb discount) for their cold calling, and don't seem to grasp that this number may not even belong to the broadband customer!
Don't remove your o2 "associated" number to avoid sky calling - I tried it but it resulted in the loss of my free BB retention deal (o2) and had to reinstate the number to get the free deal back onto my account.
If you want to stop sky ringing/texting etc won't you need to get a new number?0 -
I've just taken a call on my mobile from Sky in Cardiff. Not sure what they wanted, they called it a 'service call' and asked if I was happy with the price I was paying.
I'm getting really rather annoyed by all this. In fact, fetch me my angry trousers Spencer, I'm madder than I've ever been!"If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0 -
I've just had 2 calls from sky despite the fact I left o2 some weeks ago. Told the chap this and all he did was to try and get me to sign up early! Then wanted to know who I'd swapped to, told him it was none of sky's business. Had to get really angry before he'd listen. Told him to take my name off their records so I just hope thats the last of it. I'm just so angry0
