I signed up in Nov for 12 months and took out new mobile contract last week so i could get the discount, also have home phone with them but out of contract for that.
Been with them a few years now and would like to try for the free broadband and £100 mobile credit but dont know what to say when i phone.
Thanks in advance
I played the innocent 'can I have my Mac code please, I want away because I don't want transferring to Sky' (offered 12 months free). I wish I had gone for the jugular and said 'I believe you have a deal of free 12 months BB and £100 credit can I have some of that''Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

I told them that I'd only had the mobile contract for the bb discount, (it was a factor).0 -
Just got the 12 months free just a shame the mobile linked to it is payg and not pay monthly...........what is the situation re £5 off/£10 top up every 3 months
If you have the twelve months free nothing . When you are on the half price deal you only receive £2.50 off. They will not credit you with £5 a month!0 -

Customers will be migrated onto Sky's LLU network. Infrastructure is retained by O2.0

My call didn't go to plan. It turns out I'm in contract until August and she said with that being the case they weren't going to offer me anything despite mentioning a 'friend' who'd be offered the year free & £100 credit on my phone bill. I asked for my Mac code but I won't be using it, I wondered if asking may trigger an offer but clearly not!
Has anyone in contract been offered the deal above or did I imagine reading that?0 -

Same thing happend to me on Monday though I didn't mention anything about friend being offered. So far on this thread everyone got a year free and most got credit. While myself and you been sent a MAC code. I won't be leaving either..

Has the move already started ? I just received this email from O2.
The way we use the internet is changing. We want to make sureyou’re getting the best. So we’re upgrading our broadband network.
When?
We’ll be upgrading your area from 13/03/2013. On the day weupgrade your broadband, you’ll go offline for a little while. We’ll remind youthe day before.
If you have a static IP address
After the upgrade, it will change. So you’ll need to updateanything that uses your static IP details. Once we’ve finished the upgrade,we’ll email you your new address and info on what you need to do next.
If you have your own router
You might need to switch it off and on again.
But for now, you don’t need to do anything. We’ll remind youagain just before we start the upgrade. And don’t worry, it won’t cost youanymore and your terms and conditions won’t change.
If you’d like to know more, go to http://www.o2.co.uk/networkchanges
Kind regards,
