Over on HUKD others have reported not being offered the £100 mobile credit. I'm another one who has just tried twice and the 12 months free still stands but the £100 credit to your mobile account finished today at 1.00pm and couldn't offer anymore than the £50 M&S voucher which I would never spend.0

I wasn't going to re-read the whole thread.
You will be my 'friend' when I call back tomorrow to say that absolutely 100% 'they' were in contract (she said no chance) and to ask why I am not being offered the same deal?
I only renewed mine at the end of January and she offered me the 12 months free too.
She said I'm only tied in for internet too so I might move my phone line so I don't move to Sky as there phone line charges are high.0 -

Ta. I'm on the phone in the morning. I'm loath to quote MSE forums as it's unlikely to help my 'case' and of course they don't have to offer me anything.
I'll just ask why I'm being treated differently to others and leave it for them to speak.0 -

If you decide to stay with Sky and see how it all pans out, then be aware that your existing O2 email address will only have a 20Mb limit and will fill up very quicky.
Most things like amazon, paypal, tesco etc etc use your email address as your username, so it's probably worthwhile starting to migrate these now to something like GMAIL ( or do what I do, and buy my own domain name from someone like 123-reg ... ~£7 for 2 years, so that I have my own email address which can be linked to whatever ISP I happen to be with .. if I change ISP, I just relink it )
In future, best not to use your ISP email address when setting up accounts with Amazon etc, so that if you change ISP you don't have the hassle up amending your account ...0 -

What I did (a long time ago)..
Set up a gmail account. In your settings there is an "add account" option. Add in your o2 account and select the option "do not leave a copy on server". Your @o2 account will never fill up as gmail is constantly checking few new mail. Do the same for any other ISP mail you might have.
Then gmail will fetch everything from @o2.co.uk. Then just don't bother with the @Sky address and use either the o2 mail or the gmail account going forward.0 -
