Thanks both - phoned antenatal and apparently I need to see DR for a referral. Got Drs appt @ 10:20. She did tell me that there are no scan appts til after the holidays! I hate this being in limbo - not knowing whether still pregnant or not :( No pain at all but def still bleeding.

Sorry - to bring mood of thread down but Ive woken up bleeding :( Am 8+5 and really thought I was out of the woods, was considering telling people etc. Just waiting to call midwife /hospital to try and arrange a scan (Am hoping they can do this??) Am absolutely gutted :(

I had bleeding almost exactly the same time as you and 10 days on all is ok. Because mine started on Sunday I phoned nhs direct and they told me to go to a&e, who then referred me to the EPU for a scan the following day. Hope they can sort an emergency scan out for you ASAP to put your mind at rest. Will be thinking of you.

Thanks - am back from drs and earliest scan I can have is Tuesday! So have an appt. So now in limbo - just resting up. He said if it gets worse & I have pain then to go to A&E. Resting up not easy when I have 2 children! Have had to tell someone in work now as obv not going in until I know whats going on and am now just praying that the bleeding stops and everything is ok....
Thought you had a similar experience Sweaty - hope mine is same outcome as yours.

I was so convinced with DS2 that I had miscarried I spent the 2 weeks between scans decorating, moving furniture, having a jolly good clean of my house and all was ok.. It makes no difference whether you sit and stew and do nothing or whether you do your normal activity.

Can I ask a quick baking question please? I've made some biscuits that had 1 egg yolk in the recipe (as well as a lot of butter and chocolate!). Now they've cooled I see that they are still squidgy in the middle - do you think the egg is cooked through and they are safe for me to eat??? thanks!

Personally i would eat them - did you use in-date eggs? Where they the lion brand ones?

Another thing to consider - would you eat them if you weren't pregnant? If yes - shouldn't be that much risk to eat them!

Yes they are new eggs (bought yesterday) Tesco own brand with the lion stamp.

I'd def eat them if I wasn't preg! hehe! but then I'd also eat brie and rare steak ;)

thanks for the advice, I think given how long they were in the oven (twice as long as the recipe stated as my oven takes longer than most for some reason) then the egg's probably cooked.
