BTW - in terms of bras I always struggle to get one with proper support (with them having no underwire). Most ones I've tried, including M&S unfortunately, gave so little support I might as well have put my boobs in a couple of plastic carrier bags...
The only decent ones I found were Royce bras, although trying to find them (in my size) at a decent price is very hit and miss.0 -
Constipation- last pregnancy had warm weetabix every morning. Def helped. Past few days I've had a half weetabix half muesli mix which is lovely.
Maternity bras- bought from mothercare last time, i don't need them yet this time, but recommend only buying one light one dark as my size went up a few times within a short period of time and they are expensive.2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013

Had our scan today, it was amazing. Baby's there, good strong heartbeat, I'm so happy I could cry. Due date is now put at 8th October, so I'm 12 weeks tomorrow.

Thank you so much for all your support - you're such a lovely bunch :kisses3:
I filled in most of the notes today, but didn't do the bloods (I hate needles, not giving blood if I'm not pregnant anymore)
The midwife called through and got me an early scan. There was a tiny little black dot which is in the correct place so currently nothing to worry about :j I'm getting another scan in 2 weeks to ensure everything is progressing as it should.
It's gonna be a long 6 weeks though.
Hope everyone else is doing well. I can't remember the lady that had her scan today, but so pleased all went well.
Take care girlies xxx0 -

Have ordered the m&s bras so we'll see. I'll report back. I already wear their stretchy crop-top style support bras in bed which are a godsend, they seem to hurt a lot more at night!
Also ordered some maternity jeggings in the sale. Bit early for maternity wear (and scared of jinxing it!) but none of my jeans or jeggings fit me comfortably cos I'm so bloated (lovely!)
Glad to hear happy scan news today0 -
congratulations tiny!
counting hope those 6 weeks go soon
good luck for tomorrow fluffy
AFM gonna buy some maternity trousers if I get a successful scan on Weds. Some jeans will simply not fasten up! Boobs are no bigger but sore with itchy (!) nipples. 2 sleeps til my scan. 11+40 -
Yay! for the succesful scans yesterday
I finally saw my midwife at 8w+2 to book in. Get the feeling that as its my 3rd she is just going to leave me to it! Kept saying - well you know this already etc etc. It is 4 years since my last so something may have changed! (Whooping cough jab for a start). So just got to wait til 12ish weeks now for my scan.....0 -
Urgh, Midwife has just rung about my Bloods she took the other week...I have low Iron levels
Means either injections or Tablets, but also more constipation.
Boobs are sore and tender already
This pregnancy is worse than my other 2 so far. I loved being pregnant with them. no symptoms what so everbut now I want to curl up and let the next few weeks just fly by while i sleep
Still no news on 12 week scan. 10 weeks tomorrow which has gone really quickly! I think it's settling in more that I'm going to have 3 kids! :eek:What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -

The injections shouldn't give you constipation as it is absorbed to the blood stream not heading to the digestive system...LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
