  • Counting down the days - hope your appointment goes well today and your midwife can get you any tests/scans that you need to put your mind at ease. It's so so tough in the early days when you don't know what's going on. I really hope you get some answers soon.

Abi - Hope your doc appointment goes well too and you're feeling a little less anxious. Fingers crossed for a speedy early scan too.

I've had a crazy busy week and was working all of my Saturday so feeling pretty tired today, trying to do something that resembles cleaning before our whole flat becomes a pig-sty!

I'm really hoping to do some knitting for this baby as long as everything goes well but I'm too scared to start just yet incase I have to put it away again.

My granny has been taken to hospital too which has been very worrying - I went to visit on Friday but she was very confused about where she was and who I was :( hopefully she'll be doing better when I go to see her today.

Off for a very early lunch because I'm too hungry to wait any longer!

Ugh feel like a lump today.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend any good websites to get low cost maternity/nursing bras (DD+)? None of my bras fit me any more! :(

Not massively low cost but I just got some nice ones from M and S at £28 for pack of 2. Now I know some people slate M and S and they can be a bit hit and miss but I've found these ones, non wired maternity/nursing bras, quite good!

Shingles are finally gone! So happy, pain was getting me down big style. Out for a lovely Indian meal last night but have had a sore tum all day. Don't think its food poisoning, just spicy food not agreeing with me. Still it makes a change from the bloat and constipation of past few weeks.
Very excited about 12 week scan tomorrow- have been counting down the days but all of a sudden its here :T Hope my tum is recovered tho as my memories of scans last pregnancy include not enjoying being poked and prodded in the belly.
2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.
    MFW OPd 2014 £2000 2013 £9700 2012 £2848.39 2011 £2509.58 2010 £11000 2009 £112002008 £4939 :D
Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013 :)

Not looked in respect of maternity, but I have bought from naturally close several times. Free returns so you can order a few for choice.

Hope everything is well tomorrow. I've got constipation too - any tips anyone? Please don't suggest prunes as I don't like them. I eat plenty of fruit & am drinking plenty. I've been adding a fibre supplement to drinks. I went to Boots earlier but everything said don't take when pg & when I asked at the counter the pharmacist said I needed to see the doctor.

Felt a bit rubbish last night / today, nothing too major though. Was going to have a nap after work but think I'll just have an early night instead.

Hope today's scans have gone well.

Good luck for tomorrow fluffysox! I have mine a week tomorrow and wish it was before Easter so we could tell family. Just have to hang in there for one more week :(

TTC40 I would try waitrose porridge with oatbran or any sultana/fruit and fibre. Good luck!

@ttc40 kiwis are recommended to get things moving, might be worth a try?
  • Hope things went well today Counting Down The Days.

Had our scan today, it was amazing. Baby's there, good strong heartbeat, I'm so happy I could cry. Due date is now put at 8th October, so I'm 12 weeks tomorrow.

Hope appointments etc went well today.

I have given up and am wearing maternity trousers - it feels soooooo nice to not be bursting out of my normal ones:) - although if I'm at this point now I'm not sure I'll find anything to fit me later on...:o
