  • good luck with your scan robots, im sure everything will be fine so I've been told spotting can be quite common. i think brown blood is supposed to be old blood.

hello to beckyandjack and Gelly and derby

I've also had some on off bleeding still but fingers crossed not enough to come close to fill a pad in a day. I've been feeling sick/nearly sick i.e retching for 2 days running so hoping that is a good sign. 30th december for my 7 week scan seems ages away.

Good luck Roborts for today - hope you're ok?

Plantpot - I know what you mean but thankfully, it's not that long. HB and I were discussing earlier when we should try to book an early scan - currently looking at a min of 25 days wait - not sure I can wait that long, might burst with excitement before then.

    Happy weekend all

  • Hello all

Sorry I've been AWOL. Have literally been living at work as all my work has December deadlines....didn't think I was going to get it all done before I finished today but thank goodness I did!

So sorry to all who have had bad news whilst I've been lurking but not posting. Big hugs x

Welcome to all the new people! Lovely to see lots of the TTC ladies moving over here! :)

I'm 12 weeks tomorrow - can't quite believe it! Scan on Monday eeeek!

    Take care all X
  • Hello all, thankyou for the wellwishes.

    It's a baby!

Little bean has arms, legs & a heartbeat. It is "as healthy as we can tell", there is no obvious cause of the spotting.

I'd told her about the spotting as I got on the bed/table thing. As soon as she told us there was a heartbeat and all looked ok I burst into tears and then was crying and laughing with joy... To the extent she had to ask me to hold still to take the test photos!

Bean was sideways and in a bit of an awkward position but we got there.

I've been dated at a few days earlier.. New EDD 30 June.

    So relieved and happy.

  • So pleased all was well with the scan robots. I'm beginning to think spotting/bleeding happens more often in pregnancy than not due to the number of us that have experienced it!

I've been feeling really rubbish all day, probably tempted fate by saying my symptoms were fading the other day! I've got stomach ache and I just don't know why, everything feels too tight around my stomach, I don't like my clothes touching it and I've spent most of the day feeling sick, and my pelvis is starting to get very painful, and that didn't happen until 16 weeks with DS, so I'm not holding out much hope I won't be suffering with it this time round. December is our busiest month at work, so I've been working longer hours and it's wiping me out, plus it was our Xmas Do last night so I didn't get home until 1am, we were allowed in an hour late though this morning so I didn't lose much sleep. I just wanted to sit and rub my (rapidly expanding) bump all day today to make myself more comfortable but that would make it obvious I'm pregnant and I don't want to announce it at work until after the 12 week scan. If it was acceptable to sit in work in just a nightie I think I would right now! On a more positive note I'm sure I felt the little bean moving again today, it feels like it's fluttering about - these were the same feelings I had when I first felt DS move, so I'm pretty sure it is the bean moving and not wind. And, work were nice and let everybody go half an hour early today, but I think that's beacuse most of the bosses were suffering with hangovers so wanted to go home themselves!
Next week will be a much easier week, 2 days in, 2 days off then 1 more day in then it's weekend again :)

Good luck with your scans on Monday catloverbex and preggosaurus.

    Aqua 11+2 xx
  • Had our private scan yesterday at 9+3. Sadly, there was no heartbeat, and the little bean had stopped growing about 4-5 days ago. Will visit the docs Monday for the next steps. I had a hunch due to my lack of symptoms but nothing prepares you for it. OH and I are absolutely heartbroken, although glad we found out now rather than later.

Wish all of you happy and healthy pregnancys. I'll hopefully be back here soon.

    Have a great Christmas everyone.
  • Devildolly - I'm so sorry. Such sad news. Take care of yourself. Big hugs

Robots - glad the scan went well and the bleeding was nothing to do with the baby. We are now due date buddies! :-)

Aqua - sorry you are feeling rubbish. Hope you have a really relaxing Xmas

    X
  • Good morning all.
Devildolly, I'm so sorry to hear your news. Hunch or no hunch it must have been terrible news to hear. Having no symptoms myself I am half expecting similar news when I go for my scan.
Robots, I'm pleased your scan went well. Congratulations. I tried to post after your update last night but it wouldn't let me.
Aqua, I hope you're feeling a bit better this morning. Try and rest over the weekend.
AFM, I had an appointment with my midwife yesterday for bloods etc. Nothing really to report. She didn't seem concerned by my lack of symptoms so I am still holding out for my scan before I tell anyone as things just don't seem right.
I'm hopefully taking LO into town to see the reindeer later and buy some satsumas and chestnuts. Mr A was sadly lacking in both yesterday. I'm trying to get more into the Christmas spirit here and will be making my mince pies and gingerbread stars later.
Have a lovely day all. Thinking of you devildolly. x
  • So sorry for your loss devildolly, I hope you are being looked after. x
  • Feeling a bit better today, had a bit of a lie in while OH looked after DS. I've got an upset stomach - think it was the meal from the Xmas Do, definitely wasn't the alcohol as I didn't have any!

Almost finished with the Xmas shopping now, all the main bits are bought, just s few little things to get - quite organised for me, I'm usually rushing around on Xmas Eve. Might do some wrapping tonight as I want to drop a few presents off tomorrow for the friends and family I won't be seeing on Xmas Day.

claretsgirl - I hope your lack of symptoms turns out to be nothing to worry about. When is your scan?
