I'd be complete oppsite but I dont have a bump yet, I seem to be kind of 'normal' weight wise everywhere but my belly...its almost like I drink beer or something as it just where all pounds go!

My bump didnt show till about 6-7months last time i think this was due to losing my belly weight whilst baby was taking the space
People don't know what they want until you show them.

The Dr told me with sever MS theres a higher chance of twins.

I am absolutely dreading going to the scan and them telling me there is two, I only ordered one!

TBH I was very sick with DS2 and ive not much of a belly at nearly 9 weeks so hopefully there is only one!

I wouldnt mind twins if it was my first or second but ive always said 3 kids is my limit :D
  • Bella - there's lots of other things they can give you so if that one isn't helping do go back and ask for something else. They can also give that same one as tabs that disolve into your blood stream under your lip so if you're having trouble keeping the tablets down you could ask about that? Twins would be really exciting though :-)

I'm feeling really rubbish today, I had horrible dreams about losing this baby last night and now I'm so upset and scared :-(

Thanks everyone ill see how I feel come Monday seem to have picked up a bit now so ill enjoy it while it lasts

I was admitted to hospital with hypermesis with my first baby and they gave me an early scan to check for twins :) lol it wasn't twins though but that sickness did last until 34 weeks although did calm down a little towards the end.

I think twins are a blessing as is one baby, so I'd be happy with one or 2 :) I think I'm probably just showing early cause my stomach muscles are not great ha ill just be glad when I get my scan next Friday can't wait once I see there is actually a healthly baby in there ill be happy xx

  • Someones told my three kids mummys having a baby so had to tell my 6 year old DD that we have to wait another ten weeks to see if tesco say we can have one - and that we are waiting for our raffle ticket. Im not 100% sure that she believes it. :D

    LOL thats brilliant!

I ate 2 ginger nut biscuits before I got up and felt fine. I'm getting dehydrated quick so I need about 2 mugs full of water on my bedside table now. Also constant peeing! I'm still waking up 1-2 times in the night and 1-2 hours early but I feel OK in energy. I feel more positive about my pregnancy today.

TTC hope you have a lovely holiday

    Hi all

Glad to be on the thread from the beginning.

My (unconfirmed) date is 30 October. First available midwife appt 18 march.

I'm have a (private) scan on Sat when I think I will be 5 + 4. Not expecting much from it other than to know the sac is in the right place.

You may also see a foetal pole which is very reassuring means it won't be a blighted ovum. I had a scan at 5 + 3 or 5+4 and saw the foetal pole, it was only 1mm but reassured me as you instantly cut your mc risk in half (half of early mcs are blighted ovum).

Its 2cm now at 9 weeks so amazing how fast they grow!

Hello an9i - good to meet you today, if only briefly!

I had my scan today (6 weeks) and the sac and the heart beat were visible, although I'm not sure about the foetal pole - would that be the CRL measurement on my scan notes? Honestly, I'm hopeless at this kind of thing:o

Feeling ROUGH today :( was really sick this morning until about 1pm. Off on holiday on Sunday so hope its not gonna get worse!

Congrats to all those who have had their scans :D
  • Does anyone else feel worse in the evenings? I can get up fine, am not too bad all morning at work, but from lunchtime it's a slow decline...the worst of the nausea and tiredness hitting around 3pm, then not being able to manager my dinner, and bed by 8pm!

My poor DH, he works 12 hours shifts, and has to come home, fix the tea, walk the dog and do the housework, while I lie on the sofa and moan and groan about how carp I'm feeling, then have about 3 mouthfulls of said dinner before feeling full up :-(

never mind, have tomorrow morning at work, then off til Tuesday, can't wait! Hugs to all those that need them.
