  • Mysecretalias - your scan is much more clear than mine.. Though I suppose mine was off an internal scan so don't know if that made any difference. Im going to a brand new hospital so the equipment should be high tech! The image on the screen was really clear though.
Hope things have calmed down this morning Robotsindisguise x
  • sophiasmum yeah my first one (at 7+3) was internal so that was a bit blurry, this one thankfully they were able to do by the gel thingy on my tummy (don't know what it's called!)

I have an appointment with the health trainer in town today at 2. I'm a bit ashamed at what I've been eating lately in all honesty. Had a tin of ravioli for breakfast and am now having a mug of orange juice and some mushroom spaghetti alfredo (at least it is homemade alfredo sauce without much butter!) for lunch. :o

I'm hoping that I'll be able to eat fruit again soon (other than orange juice) because I'm really missing my smoothies. They make me feel horrid at the moment though.

    Huge hugs robots.

Nothing really going on here at the moment, just waiting for my booking appt next Monday morning.

Hope that everyone has a good day. :)

    Hello all
Not much to report. I'm getting a little impatient! I feel like i've known i've been pregnant for AGEEESSS as we were TTC so took a test on the day of my missed period. That was over 6 weeks ago and still have to wait 2 weeks for a scan!

It's lovely to see the scan pics, It's hard to beleive they are still so tiny but perfectly formed!

No one has been told they are having multiples yet! Would anyone prefer to have more than one at once?
My auntie had twins and she said she thinks it was easier to complete the family she wanted all at once.

I have been eating rubbish too - mainly because it's all i can manage to keep down. a handful of doritos for breakfast and 2 custard creams for lunch, that kind of thing! I wouldnt worry too much, it's more important that you eat whatever you can right now and drink enough. When you are feeling better and more energised it's easier to start thinking about 'proper' food. I can't wait until that day comes for me because at the moment i feel really sick at night so haven't eaten a proper evening meal for weeks!

Me and my husband did breathe a little sigh of relief when there was only one bean on the scan screen! Twins run heavily in my family, though oddly the first born always seems to be a singular, with twins coming afterwards!

If it had turned out to of been twins, it would have been brilliant, but much harder physically and financially. I can't imagine how I would of coped being on my own with 2 tiny babies, wanting different things at different times!
