Has anyone else very nearly fainted?

I was in a meeting at work, standing room only, for an hour

Towards the end I felt really faint and the room started to spin round

I had to slump down into a chair and had to be brought a glass of water

    How embarrassing!

This happened to me the other night and was absolutely terrifying! Like others have said maybe it's just over tiredness and standing around for a long period of time is definitely taxing on your body even if you're not pregnant! But if it happens again I'd go to the doctors. I am going to go to my doctors to mention it because it was really quite scary and I'm going to see if they will check I don't have an ear infection (which was mentioned to me when I told others about what happened).

    Hope you're ok now! :)

Hope you're ok firey. I think it's so difficult going through this, because every woman and pregnancy is different and so there's no 'pregnancy textbook' which says, today you should be feeling like this etc etc. So it's almost guesswork to figure out whether how you're feeling is normal or not!!

Just take it easy and don't over exert yourself :o

  • Mysecretalias can't remember if I said congratulations or not about your scan so congratulations. Lucky you getting another one too!

Moonbabe so pleased all is well with your little bean.

Chelseablue I've been going dizzy a lot lately. I'm driving back from London today. We stopped in Coventry for lunch. The Bean wanted me to have a full 3 courses so I did. We set off again and as soon as I'm in the middle of the horrendous roadworks on the M6 near Birmingham I keep feeling all fuzzy and feel like I'm falling asleep. In heavy spray and heavy traffic I was struggling to keep my eyes open. Pulled over in the 1st services we came to. I've just had a coffee and now I'm having a rest while OH entertains DS1. Unfortunately OH is unable to drive. I had cut out caffeine for the bean but in this case I think it's warranted.

Welcome pixel we're due date buddies. I'm 5 weeks today
  • Firey all my symptoms have gone except the tiredness, but I'm not worried. Keep feeling strange goings on in my tummy and they are reassuring me.

Congrats and welcome pixelwife - you and AquamarineMonkey are due date buddies!

Hi ladies... I havnt added myself to the list yet.... I guess it doesn't feel real enough yet, does that sound crazy?

But seeing this has made me confused.... Re Aquamarine monkey & pixelsife'sdue dates.
Last Thurs I saw the Dr and he said I was 5+? gone (the ? Was a 3,4 or 6!!) neither me not the receptionist could read it. This was LAST THURS.
He said my EDD is 3 July.
Numbers are my weakest thing (im dyslexic).
My last period started on sept 26.

Being confused I went to the NHS due calculator and it also says I'm due on 3rd July... And 5 weeks gone....

Could someone either tell me if I'm confused for no reason, or if dr note scribble was something else instead?! (It was the note he gave me to authorise booking in with midwife.)

Aquamarine monkey I'm not saying your wrong saying you are 5 weeks today... I'm just v confused! (add in extreme fatigue plus memory issues due to depression, anxiety and the meds I'm on for that and you hopefully see why I don't trust myself!!
Please forgive the badly spelt alias... I am a long time contributor who needed to reclaim anonymity for health/job related posts.

  • Whoop! That was our scan yesterday at 10weeks + 5 days :D

Actually now I've uploaded it, it does look the tiniest bit blurry, but it doesn't look blurry on the actual photo...very strange!
