I've just 'accidentally' scoffed an entire 5 pack of weight watchers chocolate mini rolls. :o To be fair, the whole pack was only 14 pence...

Just to make matters more confusing I am 5+3 and due the same date as Aquamarine Monkey who is exactly 5!

It depends on your cycle. My LMP was 29th September but I have a relatively short cycle hence my dates - hope this helps :)
Hi ladies... I havnt added myself to the list yet.... I guess it doesn't feel real enough yet, does that sound crazy?

But seeing this has made me confused.... Re Aquamarine monkey & pixelsife'sdue dates.
Last Thurs I saw the Dr and he said I was 5+? gone (the ? Was a 3,4 or 6!!) neither me not the receptionist could read it. This was LAST THURS.
He said my EDD is 3 July.
Numbers are my weakest thing (im dyslexic).
My last period started on sept 26.

Being confused I went to the NHS due calculator and it also says I'm due on 3rd July... And 5 weeks gone....

Could someone either tell me if I'm confused for no reason, or if dr note scribble was something else instead?! (It was the note he gave me to authorise booking in with midwife.)

Aquamarine monkey I'm not saying your wrong saying you are 5 weeks today... I'm just v confused! (add in extreme fatigue plus memory issues due to depression, anxiety and the meds I'm on for that and you hopefully see why I don't trust myself!!

Well our early scan was very positive :) Baby had a little heartbeat and everything. They have put me slightly ahead at 7+6 so new due date of 19th June.

Was amazing to see, they think the bleeding it just one of those things and nothing to overly worry about but to keep an eye on it!

We have decided to tell our parents now that we have a picture of show, all be it only of a little bean!

Thank you for everyones concern and wishes :)

Moonbabe I so glad for you. You're a bit further along than me... But I can't help wondering if you said magic words to your dr!

All they would do for me is an end of day telephone call from a midwife at a different surgery. She told me it was normal and not to worry. Then said there's nothing to do if it is a mc, so don't worry. I asked if there was anything to look out for and she said no.

So I'm sitting here in mild panic as half an hour ago I had a little dark red spotting with a v small cot or 2.

I'm sorry if this worries or brings up bad memories.

Hugs Robots, I can't believe the protocols vary so much. Is it just the spotting you're having and feeling okay otherwise? Hang in there, although I know how hard it is.

Don't worry about bad memories we are here to talk with you through worrying times. xx

My midwife told me that if I had any more bleeding to go see the Dr and ask for a referral for an early scan. Don't know whether the fact that I have had cramping for the last few weeks combined with recent bleeds made them take me more seriously or not.

Hope everything is ok for you!

My LMP was 2nd October on a 28 day cycle, so I'm exactly 5 weeks today and due 9th July.

This website is good for working out your dates http://www.pregnology.com/due-date.php
Put in your cycle length and the first day of your last period and it works it all out for you. I found the website really useful for working out ovulation dates etc too.

As pixelwife has a different cycle length and first day of last period it is probably right that we are due the same day.

I think your doctor has worked your due date of 3rd July out based on a 28 day cycle. That would make you 5+6 today. It's all so confusing!
  • Robotsindisguise I've just got back from an appointment with the doctor. She said if I experience any bleeding this time before I've had my booking in appointment with the midwife to phone the out of hours service for advice. Cheerfully followed with the sentence "because until you've had a scan we won't know if it's an ectopic pregnancy or not". So, if you're worried just go straight to A&E. That's what I did when I had bleeding with DS1, they did some tests then reffered me to the EPU for an early scan x

robotsindisguise - sorry to hear about your bleeding. I'd second the others and say go to A&E if it continues and your surgery is not being helpful
