We arrived at the hotel at about 4.30pm. Dropped the bags in the room then walked to a pub/restaurant for something to eat (0.8 miles each way). I'm trying to do as much walking as I can as I have a bmi of 36. Me, DS1 and OH are now cuddled up on the double bed sharing a huge bar of Galaxy and watching the X Factor results.

Samtoby hope your scan goes well tomorrow.

    Xx

    Thank you.

Sounds like a lovely night as a family. :) xx

I would have a glass of wine or two in other circumstances! I think it is all so raw what happened in that room on the 31st July. I am extreamly lucky and pleased to be here again but fearful of what my lurk when the scanning equipment is near me.

But this time its going to be ok (repeats to herself)

    Huge hug Samtoby!

I was sick earlier due to gas pains (nothing to do with being pregnant, been happening for the past 3-4 years), and now I'm eating a can of ravioli. Straight from the can... Until my nausea gets better, I'll just be eating what I can, when I can and not worrying about it. There will be time for fruit and veggies later! ;)

I was so health concious with food and drink prior to this pregnancy but I have literally lived on rubbish for all these weeks. I decided to weigh myself because I am curious and I have put on 2kg - I feel like I have gained more but I guess it is weight redistributing itself maybe?

I've lost 4kg so far, but at my weight it won't hurt anything. I've been very nauseated the past few days, so haven't wanted to eat much, plus I cannot physically hold as much as I could a few weeks ago. I have a feeling that will only get smaller and smaller as the baby grows as well. Add in the intestines dumping everything when I have gas pain and that equals massive weight loss. Like I told the gp the other day, the first time in my life I'm NOT trying to lose weight, and for the first time in my life my weight is actually going down. :(

Went off alcohol a few months before the bfp, so no worries there, and I've given up my daily single cup of coffee. GP said that I could still have it, I just haven't wanted it.

I can afford to gain a few pounds so I am not too worried just feels like so much more.

The Midwife asked me my BMI if I knew it which I told her was 22. Joked it would be more if I had a bust! I am like a surfboard but something is going on there maybe thats the weight.

I thought BMI was irrelevant when pregnant?

Higher BMI = more possible problems in their mind, but in reality, it doesn't make a difference.

My BMI is hovering between 45 and 47, depending on what time of day I weigh, but I'm short and have huge boobs and a very large rear! I have a good waist to hip ratio though! :rotfl:

I would like to add it has taken me years to get past 20 - I had some issues (you can guess) and I have had a big struggle with weight combined with my very high motabilism.

Might also explain my ahem rubbush gag reflux.
