As for me, I managed to dodge the wine mostly this weekend. We were with close friends who enjoy a social drink. To avoid suspicion, Friday night I had a v slow 1/2 glass and hubby kept drinking it!! I managed to drink just water in the pub last night by fibbing and saying I was driving!

But then today, while out, I had a some slight spotting. Just the lightest pink tinge on wiping, not in my undies (wow sorry if TMI, and I barely know you!!), but it worried me. I felt guilty. And I made husband fetch the car so I didn't have to walk 20minutes up a steep hill. I've been v tired, a bit less so the last few days, but I didn't want to push myself.

good luck today samtoby, will be thinking of you

re: BMI, risks are of having gestational diabetes, a large baby (which brings its own risks), increased risk of needing an instrumental delivery, increased risk of emergency c-section, increased risk of a poorly baby shall we say, increased risk of hemorrage so needing the injection to deliver the placenta aaaaand DVT. HOWEVER it isn't like, orders of magnitude more risky, just slightly raised i think

I had my DS early nearly 4 weeks and they were telling me my bump was small and that I was low in weight and they were concerned about the baby. I was given steriods for his lungs to mature.

No blinking need - 7lb 12 - longer that the average baby and was just fine. Yet the lady next to me was overdue and a bigger lady than me and her baby was 5lb something.

Never try to predict your body I often think it has some powers unbeknown to anything else. Obviously I am greatful for how concerned the midwives were and they were very shocked how he came out!

Will gladly take some bust off you. Would love to be able to push my boobs together and have something. Only time that happened was while breast feeding!

I am ok with blood taking, have low blood pressure which is pretty normal for me so I do hope all will be ok that end. Pain on the other hand!

Sam good luck for today, a lot of us know how you feel going in that room. Im thinking of you!:)

Im the same hun, its only been in the past couple of weeks Ive put a push up bra on and my boobs have actually been pushed together a little, its a revelation to me! :rotfl:Normally its just extra padding.

My bmi is now 19, so finally 'normal' - only took me to get to 19 weeks pregnant! Im just naturally like it and like you with no bust, but my midwife was fine as its nothing to do with my eating I can tell you :rotfl:. My friend who is a similar size had one who insisted on sending her for all these scans and sending her for consultant care, even asking her husband if she ate properly! In the end the hospital told her to stop going and just see a midwife as it was wasting everyone's time. Her baby was just under 8lb too!

I think its great that they check on people, and its better they take care than not, but bmi is just one tool of many and doesn't necessarily mean you have something wrong with you. If you were really malnourished you wouldnt get pregnant in the first place!

Having to forgo my plans of going back to bed this morning due to the neighbours being out and putting a sign on their door saying that the delivery guy is to deliver their package to our house while they are out...

This means I also need to put on trousers (or at least pj bottoms)... Not exactly happy about this.

Meh, oh well, could be worse I suppose.

The night time loo trips have gone down to every 2 hours now, so that's good. I'm currently trying to figure out something I can make for dinner that won't make me sick smelling it cook.
