Good luck Samtoby!
Is anyone else around 10-11 weeks and not heard about a scan yet? I had my booking in appointment 2 weeks ago and was told to expect a letter. I work for the NHS and i'm finding the urge just to look myself up and find out very strong! Although of course i'm not going to! Grrrrr.
My experience was slightly different in that due to medical reasons I hadn't had a period in about a year. So when we found out we were expecting (a TOTAL shock!) and I went to the doctors, they said I could have been anywhere between 4 and 12 weeks.
So they did an urgent referral for me, and it's almost worked out the opposite to others becaure I seem to have had stuff 'too early'. I had a dating scan at 7w + 3d. My midwife booking in was 7w+6d (and at the appointment they actually commented that it was very early for a booking in appointment).
I've got my '12 week' scan tomorrow - at which point I will be 10w+3d. I am hoping they don't turn round tomorrow and say I have to come back in a weeks time because it's too early?
Just goes to show you worry about everything when pregnant - others are worrying that they haven't had appointments yet and I'm worrying that mine are being done too quickly! LOLOur first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

Just wanted to delerk to say that 10+3 will be too early for the nuchal fold (downs test). I was too early to have it done at 11 +4, so had to re-book for over 12 weeks. Might be worth rescheduling if you want to have this done otherwise you'll have to go in again!!
Although, maybe you'll be happy with the extra scans and getting to see your bean a couple more times!Mini me due March 2014

The appointment was made when I was sat with the midwife at my booking in appointment. She just got her mobile out and phoned them to book it
You must have amazing will power not to look yourself up! Or is not allowed?
I guess i just need to be more patient!
We arent allowed to look ourselves up, apparently it breaches confidentiality which seems a little silly to me as i would already know everything on my record..or at least i hope i would!! :undecided0 -

I guess it's our duty to worry about everything...sets us up for a lifetime of worrying about children!
Good luck with the scan!0 -

Thanks so much that's really helpful
No no no no - not even a tornado-earthquake-flood causing mass worldwide devastation would make me miss tomorrow's scan!!
I will just have to see if they suggest me coming back again in two weeks time for another. I definitely want the test. I certainly won't be even mentioning it though before they've scanned me tomorrow just in case they go 'oh well you should just come back in two weeks time then' I think I would have a fit!
Reeallly scared about tomorrow but I know it's natural.

Oh yeah - and it definitely tells me I'm going to be the kind of mother who is constantly paranoid about their child even so much as stepping in a puddle in case they drown....ARGH
Maybe I'll be a bit more laid back after the pregnancy and all the hormones that come along with it! I might have to get my OH to slap me silly otherwise!!Our first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

We really can't win as mothers! I remember when my son was tiny he was a terrible sleeper (for two years...) anyway I thought i would be so grateful when the night came that he slept through, instead i spend most of the night awake wondering why he hadn't woken up and listening into the monitor to try and hear him breathing!!
The protective instinct that comes right from minute of the positive test always amazes me!0 -
I found out i was pregnant on 27th October
By my LMP, i am 8 weeks this Wednesday (due 18th June 2014). i have midwife appointment on Monday where I will get my scan date
