First-timer, give your GP a call and make sure you can explain all your symptoms, for example cramps. I know many ladies have spotting but it's definitely best to get checked out. :)

chelseablue I don't have any symptoms either, and I'm roughly 11.5 weeks. I didn't with my first pregnancy either. I found it quite hard first time around to accept, especially when you see people say things like 'morning sickness is good, as it means the baby is growing' etc etc, which makes you question if everything is ok, but I can assure you that not everyone gets symptoms!

Hi Phoenix7 and chelseablue just to let you know you're not alone - I'm 17+3 and still have very few symptoms! Had a private scan on Saturday though and little girl is kicking and stretching away quite happily in there! So don't let an apparent lack of symptoms concern you!

Phoenix7 and chelseablue my friend had 0 symtoms with the first but loads with the 2nd every pregnancy is supposed to be different. This is by far the worst I have had for nausea. With my son I was asleep for about 20 weeks!

    Lara44- How are you feeling?

Thanks Twigpig :) I know its only a snapshot of time but make me feel better. Hope your getting on ok.

Mrs_T_M- I had my son in my room for months as I only had a one bedroom flat and coped just fine, some friends I had at the time thought it was mad I was going to live like that and it was by choice and not because I could not afford a two bed. I think go with what you feel is best for your situation. Only thing is make sure one day they do leave your bedroom otherwise you will be like me a couple of years ago trying to get my son of 7 at the time to stop coming in my bed at night and bodypopping in the bed so I could not sleep even though he had a bed in his own room - NIGHTMARE

I had heartburn a few weeks back 5-6 weeks but it seems to have stopped. Just sickness for me now and sometimes tiredness but naps help.

firstimer14- Best get it checked out. Might be implantation bleeding though where the eggy is getting comfortable.

sunshine81- Think UTI's are really common in pregnancy. I had a UTI which ? might have set off my early labour with my son. He was born at 36+5 - told me he was going to be tiny and he was 7lb12 :rotfl:imagine if I had gone full term
moonbabe58- Poor you, hope the Dr can ease the constipation. Think your hormoanes are effecting that sure someone wrote on here before that its because your body is working hard elsewhere! Not a nice thing though.

VickyVics - wishing your scan date to come thorugh asap.
    and you too Becsxxx

Goppers - Glad your past your first milestone :D

mrshappy - looking forward to your scan news!

Sophiasmum - hope you are good :)

I definatly have a bump. It is there all day now. Not just at night. :)

Oh and new taste thingy - MARMITE yum yum yum yum

    Hi Sam

I'm okay thanks, both happy and scared :o I'm determined to take things one day at a time, and not look forward at all until later in the pregnancy. Got a couple of symptoms, just sore bbs and waking up at 5:30am(!) which is good to see. It's hard not to freak out at every little twitch or niggle, but I'm really thinking positive (but not too positive).

It is comforting to see others post-mc going forward, it seems that there are a few of us in the same boat. (Although obviously I wish it had been different). I can't believe we've had such similar timings Firey Firenze :) I'm just really hoping that it will be okay for all of us here on this thread.

I managed to submit my first draft of my thesis so the stress is off a bit with work. Yeeehah! Got 6 weeks to make the necessary changes (loads of them unfortunately) but it shouldn't be as stressful as July. I'm so excited to finish at the end of November :j

Hopefully good times are just around the corner in December!

Friday can't come quick enough! I've been having some brown spotting, with the (sorry, TMI alert) sort of mucusy, stringy clotty stuff you get at the end if your period. I'm really hoping its nothing, but am just sitting it out until Friday...

Don't waste your money on tests. Some lucky and I mean lucky, ladies don't get horrible symptoms and I'd love to be one of them! And on a darker but realistic note tests can show positive for ages after a miscarriage so you won't be learning anything. Chances are everything is fine. My friend had no symptoms whilst I was puking my guts up, I lived my summer holiday vicariously through her Facebook holiday pics :rotfl:

So I'd say make the most of doing couply things with your DH! Xx

Ended up sleeping most of the day today. When I woke up (when DH called on his way home) I was covered in sweat! I've lost more weight, and while I'm not worried about the losing weight part, I don't want to lose too much while I'm pregnant! I've been downing water like crazy and I've made a good dinner (two beef burger patties with cracked black pepper, one rasher of bacon, a bit of rice, and steamed broccoli) to make sure I'm getting the vitamins and minerals that I need. Since the baby will start taking from me soon, I need to eat better than I have been, I just don't feel hungry. No constipation thankfully, but I think that's because before the pregnancy I'd have, ummm, really loose poos regularly. I want to start making fruit smoothies again, some with coconut water to help stay hydrated. I figure that I can pour a bit of the smoothie into the ice lolly mould and if/when I get morning sickness I can suck on them and it still be healthy. :)
