Just catching up...PLMBL, I have everything crossed for you. How frustrating and worrying having to wait till Friday hopefully you just overdid it over the last couple of days and it was just a one off.

Thanks for the advice on the private scan. The main reason for me is some kind of early reassurance, but also because as much as I want to tell the parents, I feel like a fraud at the moment because it doesn't feel real and I almost think I need some kind of proof before I can tell them.

My skin is really bad at the moment, I've suddenly got quite a few spots on my face/chest/back, yuck!

Laura I wouldn't spend money on a scan just because it doesn't feel real yet, I'm sure if you tell your parents & they are really excited that in itself will make it feel real! I'd only do it for reassurance. I've got the bad spots too!

Ugh I took a tablet at 9am then ate my breakfast & I've just thrown it all back up. Can't take another tablet until about 2pm now & now I have no idea if any of it was absorbed. Really not sure if ill be able to
go back to work next week.

Maybe I didn't explain too well (this is probably why OH isn't easily agreeing to booking the scan!), its definitely for reassurance. I seem to be then opposite to everyone else in that I don't really have any real symptoms other than sore boobs and tiredness. There's also the issues with dating as I have no idea how pregnant I am!

Laura ah yes I remember now you have the silly dr! Maybe you should get one then? Have you seen a midwife yet? Perhaps once you've done that you could say you're concerned about missing the timing for the nuchal scan as you don't know how far along you are & they might send you for one?

DH is fantastic he waits on me hand & foot but he just made himself a ready meal in the micro & it stunk. I'd only just taken a tablet & I was really scared as any bad smells make me retch, I was like omg this tablet can not come back up but that smell is so bad, I burst into tears. DH had to eat his lunch in the garden..

Just been out for lunch with a friend and I had to hide the fact I can't stand my favourite foods. I now feel very very sick :S

Scary that I'm only 5th from the top now!

I've been lying down all day apart from the odd trip to the loo and no further bleeding. Very slight brown discharge but not all the time. Can't wait for Friday Xx
