  • When I miscarried last time I still showed positive on a pregnancy test 6 weeks after the bleeding started :(. That's a long story though which really would pull the thread down!

Hi Twigpig :hello: great to see you over on this thread. Can't believe i'll be moving on soon. I'm 11+1. It seemed such a long way away when I was 5 weeks.

LannieDuck - yes sore boobies is normal. My kajungas are so sore and tender :undecided

I'm hoping that next Wed exactly at the 12 wk point that a magic wand will be waved and my nausea will go away _pale_

Nice to see you here Twigpig. :)

Is anyone else not seeing their midwife until after their scan? It's so annoying that I'll be 13+2 by the time I'll see her.

I miss socialising. I feel so tired and nauseous in the evenings that I've not really seen my friends for the last 6 weeks. :(
Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!
  • Hi Twigpig!

If only it was that easy faithhope, keeping my fingers crossed that your sickness goes though.

How are you today PLMBL, hopefully things are better today x

I've just got back from the Drs and had all the info and exemption form filled out ready. I mentioned the spotting which stopped again after that one bit in the afternoon, and she has arranged a scan at the EPU tomorrow morning. Very worried but she told me it was very common in early pregnancy. Hate all this worrying, at least I will hopefully know one way or another tomorrow :o

Someone please post some happy news!! :p
  • If you want something happy faith2009uk, maybe I shouldn't post!!

Bit more red blood this morning followed by brown stuff. Still no pain but I admit I'm starting to lose hope. Just want tomorrow to be here now so I will know one way or the other.

I'm allegedly 12 weeks today. Thought it would be such a happy day :(

Hope your scan goes well tomorrow too Xx

I'm thinking of you plmbl & faith xx

Talking of pregnancy tests I took about 2-3 weeks after my d&c to get a negative so in my mind they're pointless to use for checking miscarriage wise.

I've been in a right panic myself this morning, was awake for what felt like the whole night with just weird feelings down there not cramps hard to describe and then I woke up this morning and didnt throw up. Was really upset & called the drs to request a call back as I was worried my symptoms were going, by the time the dr called I had been sick, never been so glad to be ill. He said just see how things go over the next few days.

Am wondering whether to see if I could fit a private scan in today or tomorrow just to put my mind at ease for 5 minutes.

I feel awful now but I guess I've been so ill, that now any minute I feel relatively ok I'm freaking out.

Just trying to fill in all the travel insurance docs whilst I have a ten minute burst of energy actually feel quite tired now.

Still feeling icky and tired today. Lucky for me I can work from home so I have been sat on the sofa with a duvet and pj's on working. I got my midwife's appointment for friday 23rd. They had to move some appointments about to squeeze me in. Very grateful for that.

Thanks for the lovely welcome ladies.

I'm going to ring the gp on Monday to refer me over to the midwife team. Hubby and I were expecting it to take longer after the first time, but we're obviously delighted! I'm already thinking about mat leave :D :rotfl:
