Hello ladies, nice to see a few new faces.
After our little scare last week things seem to have settled. No more bleeding. Have a sick note now until after my 12 week scan next week when we'll see if the ECH has absorbed or is still sat there. My nausea has settled but my skin is shocking- I seem to have woken up with the acne of a teenager!
I'm 12+1 today but I'd like to stop on this thread til my 12 week scan next week if thats ok?

  • Am thinking of you PLMBL. Would love to be able to suggest something pro-active but think you've already done everything possible. Hoping all is well for you and little one.x
  • Thank you pink panther. You actually just made me cry (in a good way!) but I'm hoping thats a good sign that my hormones are still high. I've just had my tea after not eating much all day and I'm trying to put off going to the loo as long as possible. It's silly because if there isn't anything there I'll feel better, but I don't want to feel worse if there is.

Is anyone here having breast pain? I've got what feels like a pulled muscle in my left breast. I've been feeling it when I raise my arm for the last two weeks. No lumps tho - I've checked carefully.

Can't quite decide whether to go to the doctor or whether it's normal for pregnancy (I don't remember it in my first pregnancy).

Now I'm getting tearful. :oBeen trying to google for something reassuring for you. Found this

#2 and #4 sound possible, and maybe if #2 and #4 happen at similar time, maybe it could be one, the other, or a mixture of the two...

Congratulations on successful scans ladies :D x

sjlou - great you have a scan date.

faith2009 - how are you today?

Hi Becca! I had an okay day today, did have a small amount of brown dc at one point in the afternoon, starting another session of tears but it stopped afterwards. I am trying to stay positive but am going to ask the Dr tomorrow morning about bloods and progesterone etc.

My parents have been amazing with it all as my partners away at the moment. And although I know it would hurt if it goes wrong, I am working on the fact that I've been in a horrible situation before and 4 years later I am happy again, so I will work though it again.

Just wish I could sleep away the next 6 weeks though :o
  • Thank you both. Pink panther that's a good site and yes, 2 & 4 could be posibilities. I've found as many positive stories online as negative ones, but I suppose it just all depends on which 50% I will join.

Tiny bit more bleeding tonight :( I've been lying down all day practically with no bleeding, but after I got DS2 ready for bed and into bed I found it had started again, though not fresh and red. Hoping it's just to do with gravity and is either leftovers from the bleed last night or it proves I maybe have a tear or something rather than it being the baby.

I'm sorry if I'm dragging the thread down, I really don't mean to, it's just helpful to talk about it Xx

  • You're not bringing the mood down at all. I'd have thought that a main purpose of the thread is for support. :-) so please don't worry.

When I told my midwife last week that I worried I'd lost mine because my symptoms had disappeared from a couple days earlier, she said that if I were to take a pregnancy test in about 4 days, if there were a problem then usually the test would show something up by that time (I think unless it was a missed misscarriage in which case it wouldn't), she said that if I was going to miscarry then I'd probably bleed about a week after that. If you have bleeding now then maybe a cheepy test would indicate one way or another at this stage?
